"It follows the D.Gray premise very closely. And yes, the Allen character is a girl named Robin.

At this point we find out that Robin is actually a full-fledged Akuma - he was a younger brother who called back his dead sister, who's now wearing his skin. So, a girl ... in a boy's body (My God, what's his/her gender?). But for some unexplained reason s/he is 0able to restrain the Akuma side (Kind of because of some seal in his/her left eye). And the anti-Akuma arm was transplanted from Robin's master(Yeah, it's Cross...) because Robin somehow wants it to defeat other akumas (apparently they are able to swap body parts quite easily).

Rinali makes a contract with the Earl but Robin fights Earl's Akuma minions while trying to convince Rinali to break the contract (in this case the person who calls back the dead person has an "out."). Finally Rinali decides to break the contract and Robin is able to lay the dead fiance to rest. The Earl disappears with a cackle. The story ends with Robin going on her way, leaving her locket/brooch with a grateful Rinali."
