Yuna's Eagle

Me in my Yuna Summoner cosplay. Originally I wanted to take a pic in my Yuna Gunner Cosplay but I didn't finish in time. This is for the contest showing a Cosplayers tattoo while cosplaying. The picture quality isn't great but oh well it was taken with my iphone lol.

So a little history about my tattoo, I got my tat on June 26, 2010, did two sessions because of the details that went into it. I was both nervous and excited to get my first tat. It was completed on July 16, 2010 because I went to a family trip to Japan.

I chose to get a tattoo of a Golden Eagle because the Golden Eagle is my favorite animal. I feel very kindred to it and I see it as my animal guide. From 2009 I was going through tough times and depression, losing friends I thought were true and wishing I was "normal". I thought I was never going to be happy but then that's when the Golden Eagle came into my mind. I observed and researched on the Golden Eagle and I decided to be like it, Strong, determined and courageous. I accepted myself and started to see the world in a different light. From then on I have been happy and still am with my darling Fiance who supported me in getting a tattoo of my beloved animal. He has given things of Golden Eagles and has even taken me to see my first Golden Eagle. I became very emotion when I saw it but hid it from my family lol. I have no regrets in getting it, I'm very proud of it and it gives me a reminder everyday to never give into negativity and strive for higher meaning. What is past is past, I only look forward to the present and future.
