Chapter One
The First Day.

Jason is standing in his room, just awakened from a nights rest.
It`s snowing outside, and he`s peering out the window.
His shoulder-length black hair is all knotty, so after getting dressed from his night wear into his jeans, shirt, boots, and black hoody, packing his bag with his Laptop, pencils, art book, writing book, and a camera, he brushes it quickly before he heads downstairs.
"Hey! Mom! I`m going out for a little while!" He yells before walking outside into the cold snow.
"It`s snowing. Good... No kids are out to annoy me, then..." Jason says to himself in a dark manner.
Jason is shy underneath these emotional barriers he throws up to stop everyone from knowing who he is.
Nobody knows Jason, apart from the nickname "Art Boy", because he always draws and writes.
He`s walking down the streets of his hometown, some people are hurrying down the street, because of a Snowstorm that is going to hit the town later in the day.
Jason stops at the bulletin board, and looks over the jobs listed there, he needs cash buy himself a new Laptop and some art supplies.
One particular leaflet is on the board that catches his eyes.
He reads the leaflet in his head.
Volunteers wanted for the THK Research project! You`ll be payed well, and earn good job experience towards a better job!
Pay is 100 American Dollars an hour, and you get insurance until you choose to leave or quit!
Jason smiles at the leaflet, the only problem is that it`s wheaterworn and very difficult to read.
So he takes it from the bulletin board and heads to the post office, where he usually goes to look at things.
He immediately goes to the Back room, and his friend Mason knows it`s him.
"What are you doing this time, Jason?" Mason yells from the shelves he`s re-stacking.
"I need to use the light board and a Magnifying glass to look at a leaflet for a job." Jason yells back in reply to Mason.
"Okay. You know where it is!" Mason yells once more before continuing his shelf stacking
Jason plugs in the light board and pulls up a chair, taking a seat behind the desk that the light board is mounted on, and placing the sheet of paper on it.
He places two paperweights on it to stop the sheet from moving around on the plastic surface, and he gets a Magnifying glass from a drawer.
He looks through the lens and reads whats left of the warnings, what the project is, and what role he would play if he was to join.
"E--e-t- of tak--g thes- pro-ced-r-s inc---- of human--y a-d ph-s-c-- form." Thats all Jason can read because the rest are really messed up and smudged beyond recognition.
"Ugh, Stupid leafl- Hey, The Address..." Jason tears off the address, and looks at a clock on the wall. He`ll have to head there in the morning, because it`s 4:30 and he has to get home before the snowstorm.
He says thanks and rushes home, the snow slowly picking up.
When he gets home, his hood is up and it`s 8:30pm.
"Mom? I`m home! Sorry I took so long!" He yells and goes to the living room.
His mother is asleep on the couch, she had been working hard throughout the day.
He smiles and goes upstairs into the only room there, his room.
He showers, changes, and goes to sleep in his bed.

Watcher was assigned the mission of spying on any who stopped at the Bulletin Board.
He saw a boy with black hair take a THK Flyer, so he followed him.
Watcher is only 3 inches in length. Because, Well, He`s a lizard, He followed the boy and watched him analyze the flyer.
He followed him to his home that night aswell, and hid in his room.

It`s early morning and Jason wakes up. He goes to the bathroom and changes there, feeling like some other presence is in his room.
He goes back to collect his stuff, when he see`s a lizard on his bedside table, staring at all his photos and books. He gets a jar and catches it.
"How did a Lizard get here?... Probably snuck in during the snowstorm..." Jason says to himself, the lizard stares at him for a moment.
"Let me out of this jar! I`ve got to report back! Otherwise they`ll come to kill me!" Watcher yelps aloud.
"What the hell?!" Jason puts the jar on it`s side and Watcher crawls out.
"Your a lizard, and you can talk?! Thats crazy! Am I dreaming or something?" Jason says to Watcher
"No. I`m from... I`m from the THK Project." Watcher says truthfully.
"... I`m going there today. Will they do this to me?..." Jason asks, crouching down and offering him a hand.
Watcher scampers onto his palm, up his arm and onto his shoulder, hiding under his hair.
"Yeah, but if you volunteer you get to pick what animal or creature you become." Watcher says.
"Okay. Thats all I need to hear. I hate being a human, to be honest. It`s so boring." Jason seems content with the choice his about to make.
"Wow. You chose quickly. But what about all your art work? I mean, it`s so well done, it`s legendary!" Watcher speaks from his heart, which he finds easy.
"Um... Okay..." Jason says, leaving a note on the table that reads:
"Mother. Going to join the THK Project... I`ll come back when they let me. You probably won`t recognize me when you see me next. Goodbye... Love, Jason."
"Wow.. You really are set on this..." Watcher says sharply.
Jason takes the bus to the other side of the town, and walk the rest of the way.
When he gets to the building and enters, the massive glass doors swing open on their own. On the main counter sits a girl dressed in scrubs with a lab coat, she looks up and smiles, already noticing what he wants.
"I want in the THK Project. And this Lizard says he needs to "Report in"." Jason says quickly.
"Just sign here." The Scientist says.
Jason fills out enough paper work that there`s a pile up to his knee`s.
Then some doors open and Jason proceeds through there. Watcher goes with him.
The corridor doesn`t seem to end and goes on and on and on.
