Club Rules + Info

How to Join the Club:
You do NOT have to have Tim Burton fan art to join. However to submit to the club you MUST be a member.
To join TimBurtonFanClub go to the group's front page and click the 'join our group' button at the top of the page.
This is not required but if you want to help advertise the club then you can put either the group icon or devlink in your journal or signature.
For Icon: -hint :icon TimBurtonFanClub: w/o the space between 'icon' and 'Tim'. It should look like this
For DevLink: -hint :dev TimBurtonFanClub: w/o the space between 'dev' and 'Tim'. It should look like this TimBurtonFanClub


Submission Rules:

General submission guidelines can be seen below:
Deviations and other types of entries must be club related!
Deviations must follow the deviantART rules.
Fan characters and original characters (OCs) are ONLY allowed as long as Tim Burton or one or more of the characters in one of his movies is also included in the deviation.
No hate art.
Submissions must be approved, so please be patient, it may take a while for your deviation to appear in the group.
When submitting a deviation, please only submit it once.


Club Folders:
The folders in the club gallery are specific to certain types of art or movies. Please feel free to submit pieces into these folders. However, make sure you submit to the correct folder or else your piece will be declined. If you are unsure if your piece fits into the folder either check the folder description or send a note to the club.


How to Submit Deviations:
There are multiple ways to submit:
Click the 'Submit Art' button on the club's front page.
In the Gallery, go into the folder you wish to submit to and click the '+ Submit to this Folder' button. This button will give you two options: Submit a New Deviation OR Contribute an Existing Deviation where you get to choose a piece that is already in your gallery to submit.
You can also go to the deviation you want to submit and click then '+ Submit to a Group' button. Then just click on this club and make sure you are submitting to the correct folder.
Remember to please follow the deviantART rules and the club deviation rules on this page. I don't want to have to start deleting deviations or limiting the club members' submission privileges. That's no fun for anyone.


Favourites:
Clubs cannot favourite deviations of club members. If you are a club member, instead please submit to the club gallery.
When suggesting a favourite please submit it to the "Favourites" folder, not the "Featured" folder. The "Featured" folder is currently being used to display the winning contest entries on the front page.


Want to become an Affiliate?
For group clubs go to your club's front page and click the 'Affiliate' button at the top of the page. Then type in TimBurtonFanClub into the space provided. I'll make sure to accept the request when I get it.
If you don't have the affiliates box, just go to your club's widget page and add it.
For those non-group clubs just send a note to the club with the subject of "Affiliate" and add this club to your Affiliate List and I will add you to our Affiliate List.
