• What I like about Kikai:  It inspires me to draw more. Also, I can get good feedback and constructive criticism from the other members which is always so helpful and appreciated! There is always something to do, or discuss at the meetings, and so there is always something to learn. It's never boring. Inspiration comes easily. Lastly, there is usually at least one member that brings snacks! Yum!

• Favorite Anime Influence:  Visually I like Clamp's style the best if I had to pick one. It is very feminine and beautiful.
• Favorite Non-Anime Influence:  Jason Chan is one of my favorite artists. He does a mesh between realism and fantasy. A hint of cartoony too, but not a lot.

• What I like about Kikai:  This club is like deviantART used to be when I joined the site many years ago. People of varying skill levels, all interested in making art and sharing their fandom for anime and manga, who comment and critique each other with a smile and with some effort. Hearing feedback is the most powerful tool for my art; it keeps me motivated knowing there are actual people who are seeing the work I am doing. Kikai has been a great club for that reason.
