[Discussions]New Death Note Musical
In case you haven't heard, Japan's doing the musical for the third time, but this time with an entirely new cast. From what I've seen, I'm far from impressed. Obviously these new cast members aren't as professional and/or experienced as Kenji Urai, Teppei Koike and Hayato Kakizawa. These new guys...well I'll put a couple of links to youtube videos for a couple of the songs and they're far from being ready and they're supposed to open next month. Also, all the commercial spots recently are using the old cast to sucker you in. That says to be that they aren't a hundred percent sure of this..I know I'm biased but it doesn't really show me

I haven't posted anything in a while, mostly because I didn't think anyone really cared much anymore, but for those that do, I apologize.
Don't know if any of you have heard of the exhibition in Tokyo right now of Takashi Obata's work (Especially Deathnote) called "Never Complete". Included in the exhibition is new art for Death Note, which also includes a new 87 page new One Shot for it. This new one shot will feature Ryuk, Near and a new Kira who has decided to use the Death Note in a new way, rather than killing. It also goes over what the Kira legacy has done to the world years later.

So, Ivan Michell (sp) who penned the lyrics to the DN Musical, has announced that there will be another production in 202 with two major differences:
1. A completely brand new cast
2. The possibility of an international tour.
Would you see it if it came to a venue near you?
I'm wondering how they would bridge the language barrier if this is indeed true. It's an interesting though.

I don't know if "it's not in the rules" means something is allowed or not, so I'm just going to ask: is it okay to submit other people's work to the group?
I'm not claiming it as my own or anything, I just found a nice picture of Misa hugging Light and wanted to submit it, but because I'm brand new to DNFC I figured I'd come and review the whole submissions policy first ... and I still have my original question.
