Pokeumans Sparkler Ch.1 (Remastered)

One evening my little brother Jack and I were in our bedroom were playing Pokémon together. His Raticate had just knocked out my 3ed Pokémon in a row when our Mom came in and said. "Jack, it's time for you and your sister to go to bed!"

I could see that Jack wanted to keep playing, so I told him "If you go to bed right now I promise to wake you up early tomorrow morning and we can play some more Pokémon since it's Saturday. Ok?"

He agreed and we turned off our games and went to bed.

However the next morning was anything but ordinary.

I got up and went to wake up Jack like I promised. Since it was Saturday we would have the whole day to play together, so I walked over to his bed. But when I pulled up his covers what I saw shocked me so much that I screamed.

Jack's body was covered in what looked like purple and cream coloured fur and he seemed to be growing what looked like a tail!

My scream must have woken him up because he was suddenly up and screaming "WHAT THE!? WHAT'S WRONG?!"

He stared at me with a really weird look, but before I could say anything he said. "Sis, your face!" I quickly ran over to a mirror to look at my reflection and saw that my nose had shrunk to a small black thing and that my cheeks had turned red.

Then our Mom burst into the room yelling "WHAT'S WRONG!?! Why did you ju-"

Suddenly her eyes glazed over and she yelled "YOU'RE ONE OF THEM!" before pulling an aerosol can out of her purse and spraying us with some purple gas.

I blacked out...

When I woke up I was chained to the floor of what seemed to be a room made of metal. It was so dark that I could barely see my hand in front of my face.

I remembered Jack and called out to him, "JACK ARE YOU THERE?"

"Sis?" He responded about a second later in a groggy voice. "Why am I chained to the flour?"

I felt immediate relief, at least he was here and sounded like he was OK. My relief didn't last long however, because just then the room shook violently, knocking me for a loop. The movement of the room must have allowed Jack to slip out of his chains because he was suddenly by my side asking me if I was alright.

I was about to respond when the side of the room started to glow red. A section of the wall melted away, revealing, and you're not going to believe this... an Arcanine, a real life honest to goodness Arcanine popped its head in the truck and said "Are you guys all right?"

I was so dumbstruck. I couldn't even speak until Jack stammered, "Yi, yea! We seem to be alright" Which snapped me out of my daze. I said "Ummm, me to".

The Arcanine came in and said "Don't move" before proceeding to snap the chains binding me to the floor with its teeth.

We then climbed through the hole and discovered that we had been in the back of a truck.

I asked if the Arcanine had a name, but before he could answer we heard a loud noise in the distance which caused the Arcanine to say "Oh crap! They're here already!?"

He then turned his attention to me and Jack and said "Listen, I don't have time to explain everything to you two right now but I need you to trust me. You're in a lot of danger right now so I need to get you two of here right now. Get on my back! NOW!"

Realizing that I didn't have much of a choice (I mean we were in the middle of nowhere as far as I could tell, and besides he did save us) I climbed up onto his back and then helped Jack up.

The Arcanine said to us "Good now hold on tight, and don't let go under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Not unless I tell you to!"

To which Jack replied "Okie dokie Mr.Arcanine". To which the Arcanine responded "It's Jasper. Not Mr.Arcanine." Immediately afterwards he yelled out "AGILITY!"

We were suddenly moving so ridiculously fast into a forest. We were going so quickly that the wind was pounding so loudly against me that it was hard to breathe. All of a sudden I saw that we were heading straight towards a big tree right in front of us. I screamed "AAACK WERE GOING TO CRASH!"

At that exact moment I felt a strange tingling sensation spread throughout my body and saw electricity coming out my cheeks. I'm guessing that Arcani-, er I mean Jasper, felt it because he screamed out "ACCCK!" and jumped and swerved to the left, out of the way of the tree. We passed so close I was almost hit by the branches.

Then I heard a sound that made my heart cringe in fear. Jack was screaming! His screams were getting fainter, and fainter until his scream disappeared completely. I looked behind me and saw that Jack was gone!

Jasper yelled "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU! CONTROL YOUR ELECTRICITY YA' MORON!"

If it weren't for the fact that Jack was gone I would have told him off for being so rude. Instead I yelled "JASPER! WE HAVE TO GO BACK, JACK FELL OFF!"

"SO?" he replied.

As you can imagine I was horrified. "SO? SO?! MY LITTLE BROTHER JUST FELL OFF AND YOU'RE GOING SO!?" I yelled.

Jasper retorted "YEA, SO? HE'S JUST ONE LITTLE KID, AND I'M NOT GOING BACK THERE, STRAIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF POKEXTICTION JUST TO RETRIEVE SOME LITTLE KID!"

If I had been scared before now I was just plain mad "SOME LITTLE KID!? THAT'S MY BROTHER YOU INSENSITIVE-"

But before I could finish I felt the same tingling sensation from before, and again saw electricity coming out my cheeks. At which point Jasper went "ACCCCCCK! I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO CONTROL YOUR ELECTRICITY YOU IDIOT!"

I instinctively replied "THEN GO BACK AND GET JACK!"

To which he responded "THERE IS NO F***ING WAY IN ARCEUS'S NAME THAT I AM GOING BACK FOR THAT WORTHLESS KID, AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT SO SHUT UP AND CONTROL YOUR ELECTRICITY!"

At that point I lost all control of my body. The tingling sensation tripled and I released a huge electric shock from my body!

Jasper screamed in pain he swore and yelled "DOUBLE EDGE!" slamming his body into a tree with me in the middle!

I heard a loud cracking sound. I don't think it was the tree because right after hearing that sound I felt the most intense pain I'd ever felt in my life. It was coming from my back and quickly spreading throughout my entire body. When I say pain, I mean try imagining the worst physical pain you've ever had at any point in your life and then multiply that by a hundred!

It was at that point that I blacked out completely!
