Lucy's Sticky Situation

Team Natsu were coming back from a mission which they accomplished for 700,000 jewels.  The road they were traveling down took them through a forest with a variety of different species of trees. Pine trees, evergreens, maple trees, and cherry trees just to name a few, provided a densely populated forest.  Erza Scarlett was driving a magical carriage with a bracelet attached to her wrist which draws magical power to drive.  The rest of the crew of Team Natsu was sitting in the carriage recovering from their latest adventure.  Lucy, with her hands bracing her chin, watched the winding road with boredom.  Natsu looked over at Lucy and said, "Hey Lucy.  Why can't you use the right celestial spirit at the appropriate time?"  "Excuse ME?  Why can't I?"  Lucy responded angrily at Natsu.  "Well Lucy, you are still new to the guild and I don't think you quite understand that choosing the correct key can make the difference between you coming out victorious or certain death."  Erza began with a concerned voice.  "YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SCREWS UP MORE THAN I DO!"  Lucy quickly snapped back. " Erza pull this vehicle over now I need get out."  The angry young mage demanded.   The magical carriage stopped and Lucy slammed the door shut.  "But Lucy we need you", Erza began as Lucy ignored her and stormed off angrily into forest to let out some frustration.

Lucy continued going deeper into the forest pushing low level branches, weeds and vines out of her path.  She was too preoccupied with her thoughts to notice that something was stalking her in the shadows of the trees.  Lucy continued her making progress until she reached a clearing within in the tree, where a might oak tree had fallen.  Lucy decided to sit down and sulk with her back against trunk of the fallen tree while the shadow of a spider watched her from above.  The spider decided it was time to make its move and make a meal of the girl.  It reared back its head, building momentum, and released a sticky wad of goo that quickly traveled towards Lucy.  The sticky projectile hit its mark and upon impact it spread the sticky threads held inside on to her wrapping around Lucy's left side binding her left arm to her side and her back to the trunk of the fallen tree.  The rest of the webbing stuck to Lucy's thighs and butt keeping her in place.  "EH?  What is this sticky stuff?"  Lucy whined as she looked around, trying to see who or what did this to her.  She tried to get up but the sticky stands of silk placed her firmly against the trunk of the fallen tree that did not allow Lucy to look behind her.  She struggled to move her arms away from the side of her left chest and waist but the sticky threads stretched like elastic and returned back to its original state, right against her left side.

With Lucy unable to see behind her, the spider quickly brought its abdomen under itself and, with a thrust, projected a strong tether of drag line silk that connected to the back of the tree where the struggling mage sat.  After securing the silken drag line to the tree branch, the giant spider gripped the line and began its descent.  Once the spider reached the end of the of web line, it gently dropped stealth fully to the ground without making a sound and alerting its potential meal.  Slowly it crept up behind Lucy.  The spider's fangs clicked together as venom droplets fell to the ground.  It slowly reached out and gripped Lucy's torso from behind as it gave her a quick spin towards its self.  Terrified and trembling the young mage shuddered "H How c-can a s-spider get this huge?"  Lucy grabbed for her stellar spirit keys and with trembling hands started to fumble them around, trying to find the right spirit to attack the spider.  As the fear started to grip her, Lucy briefly forgot that she was holding the keys and, in a state of panic, dropped the keys to the ground.  As they fell, the loud impact of the keys hitting the ground reminded Lucy of the very brief lecture Erza gave to her before she stormed off.

After the faint memory of her friend's lecture flashed through her mind, reality set back in.  Lucy looked down and realized she had dropped the stellar spirit keys. Panic set in and she tried to reach for her whip.  To her surprise, the webbing stretched only far enough for her fingers to graze the handle of the whip.  While still in the spider's grip she quickly tried to move her free arm across her chest to free her arm and get her weapon.  Her arm almost stuck to her chest as the spider's previous sticky projectile wrapped around her breasts.  Just as she was about to grasp the whip with her one free arm, the spider shattered any hope of fighting back as it projected another web ball at point blank range.   It was impossible to miss its mark as the glob of goo exploded on impact plastering the once free arm to her back and spreading even further around her body.  The force of the impact knocked Lucy to the ground, throwing the whip just in front of her.  She rose to her knees and looked at the whip with a strong desire.  She struggled to break her bonds of silk with one eye closed trying desperately to acquire her weapon once again.  Her desire was short lived as the spider scurried up behind her as she squirmed to reach the whip.
The spider reached out and grabbed Lucy by her shoulders with a set of its long leg.  It then lifted her bringing her closer to the waiting, pulsating spinnerets.  As Lucy approached closer to finger-like spinnerets she smirked, having one last attack that thwarts off her enemies.  She kicked with all her might with both legs only to have the spider catch her feet and secrete sticky silk over her legs gluing them together.  The individual strands of silk came together as one providing the spider something to pull.  With nothing to brace her fall the impact of the webbing knocks Lucy to the ground face first.  With more panic setting in, Lucy started to buck and stretch her legs outward in hope to break the webbing.  Her hopes were dashed as the webbing only stretched so far before returning back to its original shape just like elastic.  With her last ditch effort gone, Lucy tried to squirm away slowly like a worm with the last of her strength.  She didn't get far as she felt a tug from the spider as it pulled on the web line tether that was around her feet.  She looked behind her as the spider gripped the silk tether and hauled Lucy in like a fish at the end of a line.  The spider finally grabbed the squirming girl and placed her just above its abdomen where it kissed her torso with the spinneret.  The spider slowly pulled her wiggling cocoon away from it as a wide, sticky ribbon of silk flowed from its spinnerets like saran wrap.  As the mage turns she wiggles and squirms trying to get any part of her body free.  "UGH" She grunted as one eye closed in her continuing struggle.
The spider continued to spin her around layering her generous curves with layers of its sticky cocooning silk. The spider moved its head over Lucy's toes and opened its mouth. Venom droplets feel to the ground as the spider began to secrete long sticky strands of silk from its mouth spinnerets. The strands came together as they fell on the helpless mage.  The spider continues to spin Lucy around layering her sexy lower half over her figure with layers of sticky cocooning silk. While spinning Lucy screams, "NO! NO! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!"
The spider's course hairs gave Lucy goose bumps as she came in and out of view with the spider as she turned.  The spider moved its abdomen from left and right placing ribbon after ribbon of sticky silk coating the young mage, like a cooking wrapped ham at Christmas, making sure not a single bit of the mage would be left unbound with its sticky silk. Lucy felt the sticky, wet silk coating her arms making it impossible to resist the embrace of her captor as a form fitting cocoon slowly accumulated around her. The spider leaned back its head and then brought it forward again releasing another onslaught of gooey threads that accumulated around the already wide ribbons of binding silk.
The spider continued to turn Lucy as more layers of cocooning silk adhere to Lucy's figure with every pass, the cocoon becoming tighter. Lucy grunted and whimpered in pain with the ever constricting cocoon growing with each turn. The spider stopped the spinning with Lucy's face close to the spider's mouth.  Drops of venom feel like drool to the ground.  Lucy turned her eyes towards the spider and opened them wide as she stared in to the eyes of the beast.  The spider stared back and opened its mouth wider.  Lucy's face dripped with sweat and her teeth clinched as the spider projected yet another sticky glob if silk.  She flinched and shut her eyes as the globule impacted her chin spreading and wrapping around her mouth and head like a bolas.  She tried to scream but found in impossible as the spider's silk brought her cries to a pathetic whimper.
Tears began to form around her eyes as she helplessly whimpered. "MMMPPPHHH" she cried out in fear through her gag as the spider resumed its spinning. Lucy's hair flapped gently in the breeze created by the spider's rate of her spinning. She could still see her keys and whip but no longer had the appendages to grab them as her arms were firmly attached to her back. Lucy squinted with one eye as she moved her shoulders back and forth and bucked her feet as the spider almost had her body coated in the final layer of silk needed to insure that Lucy would stick around for dinner

With the cocoon complete, the spider gently places the struggling white, mass of silk down on the ground.  She squirms and struggles but the bindings are far too strong to break.  The spider turned around slowly and froze in place with its abdomen facing Lucy.  She cringed as the spider's abdomen began to pulsate and gargle. Lucy tried once again to squirm away.  She only made it a few feet when the spider's spinnerets projected a sticky tether of silk that conformed to the cocooned Lucy's feet.  She whimpered as she felt the impact.  The spider's legs mobilized once again, dragging the struggling mage behind on silken tether.  The spider slowly went vertical as is course legs gripped the trunk of the tree as it made its accent.  Lucy squirmed and jerked her head back and forth as her hair collected dirt and small twigs from the spider dragging her on the ground.  As she reached the tree she came to a sudden stop as the spider continued its climb. "What now?" Lucy thought as she was still on the ground looking up but the spider's webbed tether continued to grow larger, its spinnerets constantly at work. The spider finally reached a sturdy branch up the trees trunk.  Lucy wondered why she was still on the ground; surely if she was to be webbed to the trunk the spider wouldn't have climbed it.

Her fear was realized as she started to feel several jerks around her feet as the spider reeled in its catch.  The spider gripped the web line with two pairs of its long legs and slowly drew the struggling mage closer.  Her tears streamed freely to the ground as her fate is now clear.  Lucy's cocoon is dragged along the ground until her feet met the trunk of the tree.  She rotated her shoulders as her legs began to rise up the tree trunk.  With another tug of the web line her butt smacked the tree as her back began to arch back in protest.  The relentless pulling brought her up higher as only her head was left on the ground with her hair dragging behind her.  She screamed in her gag as one more tug and her head lifted off the ground with her hair hanging her.

Just a few feet of the ground, Lucy felt her face get more flushed as all the blood in her body started to accumulate there.  She continued to feel tug after tug as the spider brought her further up the tree.  She swung away from the tree trunk briefly as the spider moved down the branch while still tugging.  The spider tied off the web tether to the tree branch as her encased feet were mere feet away from the branch.  It pulled several stands of silk from its spinners as it gripped the tree branch and attacked tether after tether to her encased feet and sticking them to the branch above.  The individual strands of tether inter weaved together to create an even wider silk tether.

With its prey secured and not going anywhere, the spider crawled off into the shadows of the trees waiting to stalk more pray to stray that would wander in to his domain.  "That monster is leaving, now is my chance" Lucy thought to herself in delight.  With the spider out of sight, Lucy starts to struggle feverishly to get out causing her cocooned body rock back forth while grunting into her silken gag.  "MPHHH! MPHHH!"  She cried through her gag trying to break free at last completely unaware of the single strand of silk attached to the branch held by the spider.  Sensing its prey struggling to get out of silken cocoon, the spider came out of hiding and crawled slowly down to the encased mage's cocoon.  Lucy shuddered in fear as her struggling brought the monstrous arachnid closer.  The spider's fangs dripped with venom as it poked and prodded her finding the perfect place to insert its fangs and bringing her prey's resistance to and end.   The spider slowly opened its jaws and inserted its fangs into the right leg of the squirming mage.  "MMMMppphhhhh…"  Her cries where slowly silenced as the spider's venom went to work paralyzing her body as the spider's protein cocktail pumped through her veins.  "Erza, you were right about choosing the right key being the difference between life and…"  She thought to herself as she slowly succumbed to the spider's paralyzing venom.  The young mage could only hope her friends would come by soon to save her from her fate, before the spider would get hungry.

I'd never heard of Lucy or Natsu before I read this years ago, and this piece of literature was actually my introduction to the spider-webbing peril!
