“sat at the [altar] of the Council” … although altar has religious connotations, maybe you want bench or round table or central platform

“they seemed to be unstoppable” … really? They were numerous and deadly, but grenades and torpedoes and such took them out pretty easy

“Lee Chan [stepped] onto the”

“arrived to make negotiations with the Arthros” … what I get from this paragraph is that the humans didn't even know about the Cobains or else hadn't contacted them, and they didn't know about Alex or come to rescue him like I thought. And the Helbots killed all of these Arthros guys (so that's an entire race dead) and only followed the humans as they were escaping, which in turn led to the attack on the Cobain planet and means the Helbots weren't there for Alex either, they were just there to systematically wipe out everything. But the previous chapter felt like everyone arrived to get Alex?

“World Leaders [weren't] happy [about] this threat” … it's a little less casual this way

“got up and moved into the briefing room” … why? They just arrived at the Council Chamber where they were told the state of things, now they're going somewhere else to talk about it? And why call the new room the briefing room, when it was the previous room where they were briefed on events? Maybe call the second room the World Leaders room or the discussion chamber

You really had a lot of fun making up all of those future President's names, huh? It felt like you gave all of them a chance to say something, just so you could say their name. Two things though: not every nation calls their leader the President, so it's a little odd to hear President Such An-Such over and over. Also, there's not any new nations in the year 2343? I like that Kenya is a World Leader and Korea is all one nation now, but where's the President from some future nation, like the President of Texas or the President of Ubekibekibekistan or the President of Yodel-Sip?

“It was not easy for them to go to war” … so humans in this far future have evolved past the desire to go to war? Well isn't that wonderful for them; in modern times we love going to war for any “justified” reason

“feeling confused of what they must do now that war [had] began” … why are they confused? They're a military force right? War starting means they know exactly what they'll be doing, they'll fight in the war as ordered by their command

“Alice McAuliffe [was] the only Spark Team member absent” … the sentence felt awkward

“Blaze Armstrong” … okay that is the greatest name … I'm very amused that this is the person who whines “Why can't she return and help us”

“The news was transmitted into Seiton's memory file” … so there's nothing left of the Titans? That's actually kind of sad. So many people will die because one jerk alien created a computer program to enact his will and sent it drifting towards them, and when you get to the very center of things Seiton is just an “angry face” memory file

“Then Seiton activated General Grizzle's emotions” … so the Helbots only have emotions and feelings when he says so, they aren't even independent from him. They're like his puppets, which means he's basically yelling at himself here

“Even a Helbot named Ursala hiding her face behind a curtain” … this intro to the Ursala Helbot is a little awkward, just giving their name and having them gloat a little

“his Helbots, and I [had arrived on] Planet Chartorla” … so why did they destroy the Arthros on the other planet first?

“Seiton lifted Grizzle off the ground” … with what, his tangible holographic arms? I thought he was just a computer program displaying an angry face or something

“The Helbots laughed and applauded” … they seem to be enjoying this, do they all have their emotion chips turned on too?

I like that the Human's plan sounds good and just, but is basically doomed; they can't defend everyone I would guess and the Helbots will sap their resources until breaking through. The only way to truly win would be drop a bunker buster on the Seiton program's head. The story at this point is basically making fun of those political leaders who retreat behind their walls, allowing your heroes to arrive and say something like “We must attack instead of defend!” and be right

Any questions?
