Since we had to decline several submissions, lately, and people asked for clarifications about our submissions rules, here you are some additional info to what you can already read in the rules on the Homepage of the group:
- we accept artworks from all the "toon styled" Zelda games since, for example, it would be difficult to distinguish on which particular one a toon Link drawing is based, and other similar cases;
- for OCs, for one to be accepted it must be clear in the artwork itself and/or title and/or artist's comment that it's a Zelda OC based on the accepted games;
- this group also accepts generic Zelda artworks, for example Triforce-based ones;
- for any submitted artwork quality rules apply equally, whatever the medium and style used;
- submitted artworks must be original in at least one aspect, so no blatant copies and traced pictures are allowed in this group, unless they are made to create graphics works as wallpapers, icons, stamps and such, or are really creative and/or original (for example, a copy of an official artwork could be used to make a crafted, physical artwork);
- artworks must be at least original or useful, and not just practice from the artist (we tried to find a balance between the members' and the watchers' interests, which isn't always the same since artists could want to show anything they make to get feedback while watchers aren't that interested in copies of official artworks and unfinished works, generally;
- when your submission gets declined, first of all please check the rules and then, if you still don't understand why your submission was declined, feel free to ask an explanation but only in the Correspondence.

More on quality control, here you are some of the reasons artworks could be declined:
- the cosplay / craft photo is out of focus, underexposed, overexposed or shows too many elements not pertinent to the main subject;
- the scan or photos of a drawing is too low quality;
- use of not proper paper for a drawing (for example, lined one);
- too sketchy or unrefined deviation;
- pixelated or too rough colouring and/or inking;
- messy digital manipulations;
- really bad composition and/or cut of the image;
- largely unfinished and/or simplistic WIPs (work in progress);
- really poor grammar and/or spelling for written works;
- really bad formatting and/or layout for written or partially written works;
- copied or traced artworks (sometimes they are accepted in the Graphics_meme_misc. folder, and even more rarely in other folders, on a case-by-case basis).
- really long fanfictions and comics will be accepted only when they are complete (this rule not always applies and it depends on how much time the staff will have to check them, since it takes longer than for visual artworks).
