Demyx's Detour:
An Organization XIII Short Dialogue

All is quiet at the Castle That Never Was….not.  Demyx is awake.  He opens his door and peeks out nervously.  The coast is clear.
Demyx: Phew!  The coast is clear!
Demyx puts on his hood and he holds his sitar close to his side as he walks down a long corridor into the Grey Area.  When he arrives at the Grey Area, he sees Kingdom Hearts shine brightly from outside in the night sky.  Suddenly, Demyx is surprised by Xigbar's booming voice.
Xigbar: (in a loud voice) GOING SOMEWHERE?
Demyx jumps in fright.
Demyx: (frightened) GAAAAHHHHH!
Demyx turns around to see that it is Xigbar.  He recovers from his fright.  
Demyx: Dude!!  Don't scare me like that!!
Xigbar: Whatever. Where are you going Demyx?  It's the middle of the night!
Demyx: (innocently) Nowhere! Who said I'm going anywhere?
Xigbar: (crosses his arms) I know you're going somewhere!  Where are you going?
Demyx: (worried) I can't tell you!  You'll report me to the boss man and he's going to give me the ax again! I don't like it when he gives me the ax!
Xigbar: I won't say anything.  Tell me where you're going! Talk! Now!  And make it quick because I want to go back to sleep!
Demyx: Ok! Ok! Remember how Saix sent me on that mission to Twilight Town a few days ago?
Xigbar: Yeah?
Demyx: Well….heh heh…you see….I kinda sorta had to take a liiiiiitle detour….
Xigbar: A detour?
Demyx: Yeah.  You see, when I got to Twilight Town, I saw all these Wanted posters of me taped up all over Twilight Town!  I got all freaked out because I knew that if I stayed there, I would get thrown in the clink!  But I don't wanna get thrown into the clink!!  I'm too awesome to be thrown into the clink!!  So I started to leave!
Xigbar: And….?
Demyx: But just as I left, these four guys came running up to me, and one of them--I forget his name, but I think it was Seifer or something, was all, "Hey, you!! Mullethead!! We're turning you in!!! You're coming with us!" I spazzed out and ran for my dear non-existence outta there and into a Corridor of Darkness!
Xigbar: Okay, what happened next?
Demyx: Because I was so freaked, I didn't know what I was doing when I summoned that Corridor, so I didn't know where it would take me!  But it took me to this world I never saw before!
Xigbar: (unimpressed) Uh huh….
Demyx: Yeah, so when I arrived to this world, I literally fell from the sky!! I was falling, and falling, and BAM!!! I hit the ground and landed in some field where these twelve guys in red capes where all gathered and stuff, and they were kinda freaked out when I fell from the sky!
Xigbar: And?
Demyx: The twelve guys came up to me and for a minute, I thought they were going to kill me or throw me in some prison, but they didn't.  Instead, they asked me who I was and where I came from, and I told them, "Oh? Me?  I'm a Nobody, but my name is Demyx and I'm a member of Organization XIII.  Are there any Wanted Posters with my picture around here or an icepack for my head?  
Xigbar: Yeah?
Demyx: Lucky for me, there weren't any wanted posters, but the twelve guys in red capes gave me an ice pack.  After that, I got to hang out with them!  They thought I was pretty cool!! And I had fun with them too!  They're all pretty cool and they kinda remind me of the Organization.  Although, I have to say, there's one guy in the group whose hair looks a lot like mine, but only I can wear this 'do because I have dibs, so he should really change his hair….
Xigbar: (annoyed and tired) Get to the point, Demyx!
Demyx: My point is that I was just hoping I could sneak away tonight to visit them! I like them!  They're cool!  And besides, I think there's a girl there who really likes me!  And I have to admit, she does look cute!  She's a musician too, like me!
Xigbar: (unimpressed and tired) What's her name?
Demyx: Her name's Deuce!  She plays the flute!  I taught her how to play the sitar when I last visited!  And the kid whose hair looks like mine's name is Jack!  Come on Ziggy, please let me go!  I swear!  I'll be back before anyone notices I was gone!!! Really!!
Xigbar (tired): You're sure about this?
Demyx: Yeah!  Totally!
Xigbar slumps on a coach in the Grey Area.
Xigbar: Just because I'm tired and want to catch some Z's, I'll give ya a freebie and let you run off…but seriously, get back here before Saix knows you're gone, or you're screwed!
Demyx: (cheerful) AWESOME!!!! (Conjures up a Corridor of Darkness) Thanks Ziggy!  I owe ya, man!!!
Xigbar: (peeved and tired) Don't call me that!
Demyx disappears with his Corridor of Darkness.  Xigbar yawns.
Xigbar: Sora really needs to give us a break with all these wanted posters.  We can't go anywhere without being chased by him…or going on detours to weird places!
