The vivid contrasts of light and dark set the mood of this extremely detailed work. I could not soak up every inch of detail in this with just a single glance. The knots along the trees are the best, bringing an air of creepiness and horror to this otherwise serene scene.

I am curious of the symobolism of the mask and find the entire series compelling. From the trees, to her beauty and the darkness that surrounds it.
