Shaif, the Country of the HeumaMy apologies, I probably got a little too excited about the bastardization and succession rules.  They're mostly unrelated to the group and are just cultural footnotes to give some detail into Shaif's mentality, you can probably ignore them. 8'D;; Geography and Climate of Shaif Shaif is the north-west country, and also the one that reaches the most north.  The northern edge, bending to cover the western edge as well, is a giant range of mountains that stretches across the entire continent.  North of those mountains is the beginning of the frozen ocean ice cap of the world.  It is a cold country, mild in summer and bitter in winter.  Snows typically pile up at the very least five feet in winter (and usually much, much more).  The rest of the country is hilly, rocky soil and some grasslands.  Caves and ravines are common, as are streams that are not fed by springs so much as run-off of melted snow from the mountains.  There are forests, but they are r
