Name: Zenith Leyuji

Age: 16 ^{(human equivalent but she is actually older, more like 85/100 or even more in elven time) She is ofter mistaken for being younger because of her childlike looks.}
Height: 5 feetish. That is with some rather large heels to her shoes though, so she is shorter, in reality. Depending on how heigh her shoes are, her height changes... shhh, she's not short!

Powers: 
Shadow Manipulation. (controls their shape, size, and density)
Aura sight. ^{She can see auras as well as feel them. She is also able to see with her shadows. Though she is almost fully blind she uses her senses to see. (like a sensory sight and she always sends them out all over like a spider uses a web).
Skills/Strengths:}
Making shadow duplicates.  They are sort of like wraiths or clones but they cannot speak or do anything past general motion.  They vanish if and when she drops them. And yes, she does make little friends out of the shadows occasionally she used to do it all the time but she is much better about it now. She talks for them One of her life's goals is to figure out how to get her shadow friends to talk on their own.
Sewing.  She has to have it an inch away from her nose, but she is pretty good at making things and it's her hobby. 
Concealment.  She can hide very, very well and it is her top hobby of all because she is a stalker at heart. The thing about her is that she hates attention on her, preferring to hide in the background.  She just desperately would like to be a piece of furniture and watch the guests go by.
Nature Connection. ^{Being an elf she does have some connection to nature but it helps her little in the mansion since that nature is... interesting.
Weaknesses:}
She is technically a light elf but she was born with shadow powers. Using light magic is like poison to her. 
Blindness. She is mainly blind seeing everything more as blurry shapes than anything if only using her eyes.
Lack of fear.  This is more a fatal flaw than weakness but nearly nothing freaks her out so she gets into massive trouble. Her secret little death wish makes her prone not to care if she's personally in danger so she is always in trouble.
Light weakness. The harsher the light in the room there is the harder it is for her to use her shadows. In very high light she is weak and more or less blind and running into things.

Personality:
*Sweet and pleasant. You never see her without a smile, or at least a pleasant look, no matter what. _{if she is not smiling you know there is a big problem} She smiles because someone important to her told her that a smile is a magic that heals the hearts of others. She is always a positive type person, constantly putting a bright spin to things.
_{Her other thing is that she is a huggy, in your space type. She really understands NO form of personal boundaries. If she gets in your space, that is just her way.}
*Hard to read and sometimes emotionless. _{That is partly because of the mixed up way she feels emotion, or rather doesn't feel emotions.} She knows people have emotions but she does not really understand emotions. She pretends to have normal emotions but she really doesn't. She really doesn't let people truly close to her very easily, she keeps her guard up.
*Energetic and peppy. She never slows down! The elf is fearless and is always looking for something interesting to do. Staying still and quiet is not in her skill range. <- She does that a lot.
*Innocent. She really is very innocent considering all the things that have happened to her in the past. She is rather a pure soul. In many ways she is like a child. she spent most of her life locked away from people so she is stunted in her view of the world. ...However, there is this side to her that is a bit... cruel, perhaps. Because of her cute nature no one expects her to have an evil side. She's not evil... exactly... no, she just has issues. She is very damaged and fractured by her past. Over all, she is kind and it takes a lot to get on her bad side.
*Utterly Fearless and Unbalanced. The thing about her is that she is crazy, quite literally! Her mind does not work like most. She holds no value at all on her own life so absolutely nothing frightens her. You would be hard pressed to frighten her with anything, even if you try to kill her, it honestly won't freak her out. People tried to kill her every day since she was three... you expect her to be easily startled? And Kazu threatens her every time he sees her, fear is not in this girl!

As a Tutor:
-Never be shocked if she knows your name before you've met her. She has many... stalker qualities... especially about her Lightlings. No need to worry, she's just watching out for you and she stalks everyone she finds interesting. She is very likely to come up behind you randomly.
-If she acts a bit strange when she is in the Light Tower... as in off the wall and seemingly unintelligible comments, or disorientation, or temporary spells of weakness... Well, just have no fear! As soon as she's not in the tower she will be back to normal.
-She will do her best to protect you Light Tower members. As for anyone not in her tower... well... if she likes you, she will also help you. ^{If she doesn't find you interesting... you may need to outright ask for her help, or plead. Haha! XD}
-If you need to find her just go to the Library. She stays there much of the time and prowls the tops of the book shelves to watch silently as people pass by. She likes it there because no one notices her up over their heads. ^{She generally sleeps up there too.} Not to worry though, she is diligent about making her rounds through the mansion and her tower every day.

History:
Zenith is HIGHLY secretive about herself and her past. _{She will be open with you about herself only to a point, then she won't tell you anything more. OR she lies.} She has a rather harsh and painful past.
She was born into a top family in her land, light elves, one of the ruling circles. When she was 3 years old her shadow powers showed themselves, which was bad, very bad. Her mother swiftly hid this from everyone, even the rest of the family. However... one day Zenith's father saw his daughter's ability and, being a light elf, used a sword created from light magic to kill her swiftly. _{Part of the reason for her love of long sleeves is because of an old scar on her arm and side caused by a magic weapon her father used. Because it was light magic, the wound never fully healed and can still cause her constant pain.} Her mother swooped in and stopped it, but she was still injured. However, Zenith was deemed a cursed child that would bring ruin to her land if she was allowed to live.
Her father sentenced her to die at the end of the year and locked her in a dungeon to await her execution.
(If you want to know the rest of the story, like why she is still alive, you can ask me. But be warned, she was tortured and locked away until the day she escaped many years later, so it's not a bedtime story)
She has scars all over her body from her past. Yes, I talked about her body, shudup! She's not really a child, you know! She's older than she looks!

Other Facts:
-She very often does not eat. She forgets and or decides it is boring. Elves don't need to eat more than twice or three times per week normally and Zenith is far worse about it. Being a prisoner most of her life made her very used to eating less.
-When stressed she will revert back to Elvish since English is not her first language. She only does it when she is upset by something.
-Being around light magic messes with her terribly. It toys with her mind and thinking. Light magic can also weaken her greatly. For this reason, she has issues going near her own Tower, the Light tower. _{If she acts oddly while she is in the tower, please forgive her.} Oh, the irony of it all!
-She wears the sleeves, long dress, and even choker to cover old scars. The choker, for instance, is there to hide where her sister tried to slit her throat.
-She likes everything and everyone unless she decides she doesn't... In other words she likes everyone unless they seriously make her angry, in which case she is a bit evil. She is the type who would come to your room while you're sleeping (from a sleeping pill she slipped into your drink) and drag you to the ocean and dump you in (she would be smiling the whole time...it tends to be creepy).
- Why does she wears her hair the way she does? Because she wants to, that's why. It keeps it out of her face. Eh, besides, she is oddly like a child even though she is crazy as a loon and has had a horrible life. She really should not be so innocent like but she is because she never got the chance to understand how to grow up. Hair styles mean nothing to her, she does what she wants to.

My apologies! *her words were tossed over her shoulder, sweet smile lost in a flash as she vanished into the meeting room* Sorry for being late...! *she gave the hosts and tutors waiting in the room her very best and sweetest smile in hopes they would not scold her too much*
