Anya Head Stomp

for this contest i was very excited to use anya in this illustration. i have always wondered in the game what the locustes are thinking right before their about to get their heads stomped on. so i drew this pieces in the perspective of the locustes view right before he gets his head stomped on by Anya. i tried to paint the piece with the locust hand in the side view and blurry but it just looked horrible no matter how the perspective was. o well guess it wasn't meant to be.
so i made this piece in tempra resist and then digitally filled in the color. some people ask me what is tempra resist and this is what it is. its when you take a piece of cardboard and draw your image on it. then you take white tempra paint and paint only the highlights on it. when dry you paint the entire drawing with indian ink. then when dry you take a tub of water and submerge it. wash the tempra paint off and then you have this cool dark textured drawing. then i scaned it in and digitly painted. TADA!
