Morphio Solus - Dark-Sheikah

Name: Morphio Solus

Appearance: Morphio is tan with silver hair. His left eye is white and right eye is red. He's known to wear a brown trench coat, blue jeans, tennis shoes, and an oversized straw hat on his head or back. His lower face and nose is usually covered by his bandages which he has wrapped around the majority of his body and manipulates as a type of weapon.

Personality: Insane. That would be the one word to properly be used to describe Morphio's personality. He'll zone out for several minutes at a time as he speaks to the various voices in his head or observes a single point in his surroundings. When he speaks he'll usually contradict himself with things that only make sense with the knowledge he alone carries. (Usually speaking of his own history or his own ideals.) He'll ramble for hours if you let him and he's constantly smiling and happy. When he speaks there's usually a double tone; the beginning of his sentences will start out with a confident low voice and the endings will usually turn high pitched (Which oddly carries into his usual high pitched giggle.) He does manage to have serious moments and usually his eyes will take on a glow when this happens and he'll let his bandages fall from around his face while his voice becomes lower.

Abilities
- He controls his bandages like additional appendages and has the ability to shapern them to the point of steel or use them to grab items or people.
- Shape shifting ability. While his close combat skills are lacking; he uses his ability to shape shift his body and bandages in order to fight at a decent level against those that would otherwise kill him in seconds. Known to transform into large beasts.
- Mental instability. A power he rarely uses that allows him to disrupt the concentration of spell users. This has a cool down period and can only be used twice a day due to projecting his on mental powers. In further use will force Morphio’s mind and body to shut down. Using it also forces Morphio’s own concentration to lapse for several minutes.

Weaknesses
- Close combat. Morphio is a midrange specialist. He uses his bandages to stave off fighters when they get near and has a tendency to retreat in order to assault his opponent. When against a swordsmen or a melee fighter he has trouble blocking or countering. He has no set style and simple kicks and punches in order to make room for another type of attack. His bandages, while able to become weapons, can only take so many strikes before becoming cloth.
- Fire magic. Because of the bandages that cover his body he is prone to damage from fire magic or fire in general. While shape shifted he has a little more resistance but compared to any other element fire does the most damage to him.
- Long range combatants. He fights mid-range so an opponent who specializes in long range attacks may have an easier time against him as well. Though this weakness isn’t as blatant as it is with close quarter fighters due to his ability to get in closer and avoid attacks using various tricks; it is still potent enough to force him to counter by doing such. If he can’t reach you he can’t hurt you.


Biography

- “I’m one of many and yet I’m the only one.” Like many statements from Morphio this one is quite accurate. He is another version of the ‘Core’ Morphio who started out as the Solus Clan heir within the Desert of Katon. This Morphio is one of the original creations of the Core. Unlike some of the other versions he knows who he is and where he came from.

Another trait that all versions of Morphio have is their bandages and ability to shape shift. The core started out with these abilities before he become a chaotic God. The core’s lifelong goal has been to destroy the God of Fate in order to free his longtime friend from its shackles.

Having gained his powers by absorbing the souls of his kinsmen after their demise he used those powers to break Fate’s hold over his friend and keeping him from becoming the protector of his enemy and the demon of darkness. This caused the first universe to split into many, or so the core states. The God of Fate and one of the creators of the original universe lost much of its powers due to Morphio’s interference and sought revenge. Due to Morphio’s chaotic mind and abilities the God of Fate has yet to claim said revenge but both ‘Gods’ now dance around each other in an attempt to keep the upper hand.

Because of these things the core considers himself one of the many guardians of the multiverse and uses his various souls to do his work for him. He does not control them as he was mortal before he gained his powers and doesn’t have the right type of mind to control so many at once; he acts like a commander and tells them what needs to be done or he simply takes their memories and watches to see if his help is truly needed.

This is the case for the Morphio we see now. He was sent to a dead world in order to get information on what was happening and help in whatever way he could. However, due to unseen circumstances, he lost much of his original power and was left with the original abilities of his core. Shape shifting, manipulation of his bandages, and a few mental powers used in conjunction with his insanity. He does, however, remember all that the core remembers and is able to use his immense experience to help him fight.

Though insane he was intelligent enough to see what was going on and when he saw a servant of Drakonius, as well as one of his other self’s lovers he couldn’t help but feel giddy. He detested the fact he wasn’t remembered or known by this person but that didn’t stop him from continuing on with his mission when the woman told him of what needed to be done.

The question was… what would he wish for once all was said and done? Sanity? Fiona? Or perhaps… his own existence.
