"THESE are clothes fit for a drow!" said Ivoÿn.

"I don't know" said Quilintha, checking the new daggers she get in the market. "When the old geezer gave us money so we can do something and don't get in problems, I don't think this was his idea"

"We should have go to a tavern" added Milvais. "My idea was the best."

"They only sold fruit juice, cold tea and coffee there! and we don't know where they get alcohol, anyway. What a strange religion to ban one of the joys of life!"

The three drows keep walking, wandering in the market of Moh'Handinké, very glad to finally be again in land after a month in the sea.

"I thought that the surface was bad: but the ocean is terrible!" said Ivoÿn, who was seasick for most of the travel:

Moh'Handinké, one of the main cities of the human kingdom of Kanghai, was as well a factory of the Caliphate of Blazakhov, with a thriving Im'Salana and sand elf population, the port was a forced scale for any ship sailing to the north, for the Sea of Caritz:

They had two days to rest, unload cargo, trade and resupply, before continuing the journey to the north:

And the White Hermit -now Akbar the Small, already knowing his drows companions, decided it was much wiser to avoid keep them bored, saying to keep a low profile in the inn for the two days, so after selling a mail armor to a noble man of Kumbuctú, he give some money to the drows, under the promise that they will avoid getting problems:

As soon as they could, Ivoÿn get to chamge their human bazik clothes for Sand elf gargments, meanwhile Quilintha wanted to buy some weapons for themselves.

"These clothes are way cooler than the lame human ones" said Ivoÿn smiling. "What did you bought Milvais? Some pants? Isn't that too manly for you?"

"They are similar to the ones I used as an Arena fighter" answered Milvais. "I hated that experience... but I liked the clothes, and I thought: If we are returning to Negeémiliel, why don't bring along some souvenirs"

As they walked distracted in the market, they attracted the attention of many: However, rather than being recogniced as drows -something unseen so far in the south- people mistaked them for darker Im'Salanos, a Kanov-elf half-breed common in Moh'Handinké and the north-western shores of Zarhuy.

"Speaking of our return to Negeémiliel..." said Quilintha. "There is something that is bothering me."

"And what is now?" asked Ivoÿn, as she winked an eye to a young sand elf warrior who followed her with spellbound gaze.

"Why that old geezer of Belád want to come with us to Negeémiliel and the underworld? even after what he told us he lived there?"

"Easy. To get away from the orcs in his house" said Milvais, without deeping much in this point.

"Well... surely that's true... But I mean: Why he have such an interest in General Dahl'Arak?"

"She is important in Negeémileil. Maybe he just repeated the name?" said Milvais.

Ivoÿn understand now the point of Quilintha.

"She wasn't important when he was in the underworld. true?"

"Well, her family is and was important!" said Milvais. "I don't see anything strange there."

"But why he know the name so well, then?" asked Ivoÿn.

"and why he would know the name of that excuse of a priestess Laeh'le?" asked Quilintha, looking alternatively to Milvais and Ivoÿn.

Milvais, who didn't liked where this conversation was going, pointed a stage, were people was dancing and playing music, happy. "we should go there."

"Milvais?"

"I-don't-know." she said. "I think he is a great man. For a surface elf."

"Maybe he is comming with us for vengance? Maybe we are his 'enter ticket' to Negeémiliel" ventured Ivoÿn.

"If he wanted vengance with the drow, he would have killed us. And haven't you hear what he speaks? He isn't vengative."

"I only say we should be careful" said finally, Quilintha. "Specially near Negeémiliel, at least once we are clear what he is doing and why."

"Speaking of Negeémiliel.... isn't that a drow, what I see there?" Ivoÿn pointed to a woman across the square of the dancers...

A passing druid in desert dress stops to eye the trio briefly before moving on.

"By the Holy Mother, I could have sworn to have seen them once before," he breathes to himself as he makes his way down to the docks.
