They ran round the maze of the military base, River in the lead, Amy and Rory close behind and lastly, the Doctor, whose head was working like a machine, trying to find any possible way out of the situation that he'd got himself in. "Come on...Think!" he muttered to himself.
"Doctor!" Amy cried.
"Gang, don't worry! I have a plan!" He shouted. However, this was a not-so-clever-lie. Amy knew this. "Don't lie to me, Doctor!"
"Oh, shut up." He needed time to think. Much more time than he had. He turned a corner to see a heavy-looking metal door at the end of the corridor. "Quick, through here!" River panted and they all heaved the door open.
It opened into a large and vacant spaceship hangar.
"Doctor, where are we?" Amy said, who was bent double. The group walked towards wall on the left, sat down against it with their backs to the wall and looked round the hangar. There were various boxes piled at the far end and on their far right the whole of the wall was given up to a massive gateway, presumably for spaceships to enter the hangar through. She glanced back at him. He was sealing the door with his screwdriver. "I suspect," he said,"That we're on landing platform for the space craft here. But where are they all?"
Rory shivered slightly and said "And tha-that thing was... Doctor, what was that thing?". But River answered, "A Dalek. And I think that we'd better keep moving..." Her voice trailed off as she took in the look on the Doctor's face, "Sweetie, what is it?"
"We're sitting ducks," he said distantly, "We are at the end of the base...".
Amy grabbed Rory's hand. There might still be hope.
" But, Doctor?" Amy tried to hide the note of panic in her voice but Rory picked up on it.
" Look, Amy. Amy? Look at me. I know we'll be safe. He's got a plan. Right, Doctor? Right?" There was an awful silence that lasted only a few seconds but could have been hours. He turned to his daughter, " River?". The Doctor and River exchanged a look of despair and pain, but only for a moment.
The door crashed open and four heavily armored Daleks emerged. It all happened so fast that there was no time for tears. They all stood up, held hands and closed their eyes. Rory held Amy's hand, who held River's hand, who held the Doctor's hand.
Four, cold, heartless, robotic voices screamed at them, " EXTERMINATE!". There was a loud noise like a gun being shot and a thump as something hit the floor. Amy flinched away from the sound and dropped Rory and River's hands. Was that thump the Doctor's body hitting the ground? Is he regenerating? There was a second gun shot and another thump, this time it was closer. Was that River? Was it her time now? There was a third shot... But instead of burning to a crisp, something sharp scratched her cheek and something slimy squelched and hit the floor no more than a few inches in front of her. What was going on? She slowed opened her eyes and looked about the bizarre scene of which was in front of her.

Doctor Who: Red
~Red~
Red had been the color of her nails the first time he let her fly the ship. Well, the first time she had flown the ship without him. Well, actually, the first time she handcuffed him to the railings and navigated the console of the TARDIS herself.
"Riiiiveeerrr!" He whined, struggling against the metal cuffs to no avail.
"Ah ah ah, Sweetie, don't pull to hard
you might hurt yourself." She continued her small dance around the console.
The Doctor slumped to the ground with a loud and impatient huff, his hands level with his head as they dangled from the railing. "What do you even have handcuffs for anyways
" he muttered b

River Sleeps
The Doctor relaxed on the king sized bed, in the VIP Suite of the Hotel Paragon, in the Chantel Region of the Corsa Cluster. River laid next to him, her head in his lap, and he gently ran his fingers through her soft curls. He smiled down at her, amazed at how such a strong, vivacious woman can seem so sweet and child-like while asleep.
It is times like these, in the quiet hours of the night, when he can watch her sleeping, and see Little Amelia in her. She is so much like her mother was. Strong, smart, witty, vibrant... and sad. She doesn't admit that. Never. But he knows she is. All her life she had set her heart on loving him, and all he

Tick Tock Goes the Clock Doctor Who
Tick tock goes the clock
And what now shall we play?
Tick tock goes the clock
Now that summer's gone away?
Tick tock goes the clock
And what then shall we see?
Tick tock until the day
That thou shalt marry me
Tick tock goes the clock
And all the years they fly
Tick tock and all too soon
You and I must die
Tick tock goes the clock
We laughed at fate and mourned her
Tick tock goes the clock
Even for the Doctor
Tick tock goes the clock
He cradled her and he rocked her
Tick tock goes the clock
'Till River kills the Doctor
Doctor, brave and good,
He turned away from violence
When he understood
The falling of the Silence
