Hey guys I need to clarify something. I, Echostar08 put up the poll about Google+. If you've noted TheFulkrum with a link to your Google+ account then you probably, most likely, won't get a response to that. Sorry about that guys. The confusion was totally my fault. I think I can safely speak for him and tell you that if he voted on the poll he was one of the ones who said, "No, and I don't want it either."  Even though that's the truth he might have voted, "Google what?" because he cares so little about it he probably doesn't know what it is. OR he could very well have voted for the obligatory other because he's fun and has a little mischievous streak in him

I just said all of that to hopefully explain why he may not respond to your notes about Google+. I don't want you to be upset with him if he doesn't. And also I'm hoping he'll forgive my little blunder (He totally will because he's a sweetheart and the nicest guy you'd ever meet ).

So, if you want me to add you in Google+ then please note me, Echostar08, personally. Some of you already have and it's great to have you in my deviantArt circle

One more thing, you can help me make it up to TheFulkrum by having a look at his dA Shows Me series. Every article is chockfull of awesome art (his words ) and there's a lot of Linker's works included, too. You may find something really awesome to Link your own work to.

Hello Linkers!

It's been a while since you've heard from me. My sincere apologies for that. Real life takes up a lot of my time as I'm sure it does yours. I hope you all understand

So, I have quite a bit to update you about. First of all, I'd like to welcome all new members and watchers!  We're sincerely happy you decided to join the Linker's Community   Why don't you come and introduce yourselves to everyone in this blog?  I'd love to talk to you!

I would also like to say a great big thank you to all of our members for your love and support. We wouldn't have a Linker's Community without you

Here's a quick little Linking refresher course for those who have recently joined and are new to Linking:

  When you submit a new deviation to dA, add a Link or the thumbcode of another deviant's work  in your artist's comment box.
   Leave a comment on the other deviant's work telling them they've been Linked and leave a Link to your work in the comment so they can view your lovely work.  

There you go! Linking in a tiny nutshell. Of course, there's more you can do, but that's all that's required to Link and have your work accepted into the group It's always nice if you add a little promotion for the Link System in your comments as well. You can add our group icon or we have quite a few great stamps you can use as well. You can find those in our Gifts for the System folder.

I would also like to clarify a couple of points about Linking that keep coming up during submissions.

  Links to your own work is fine, but you must also include a Link (or thumbcode) to at least one of another deviant's work in your comments.
  Links in your comments that credit stock users are not the same as Linking as per The Link System. You must also add a Link (or thumbcode) of another deviant's work in your comments as well.
  Gifts and dedications are a very lovely gesture, but they aren't considered Linking as per The Link System. If you wish to submit those to the group all you have to do is add one of the gift or dedication recipients work in the comments.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to view our Linking Resources ( click me) There you can read a manual and watch several tutorials that will show you how simple and quick it is to Link.

Linking can be done in as little as 5 minutes. It's simple to do and takes only a little extra time when you're submitting a deviation. The little bit of extra time you spend to personally choose and feature someone else's art in your artist's comment box is very rewarding because you've helped yourself and  someone else. A little give-and-take always feels good. On dA it has it has rewards as well — exposure of deviants and undiscovered art.
