Chapter 3: Leaving
*Tye's POV*
My hand flew out connecting with another being. I shot straight up, my eyes flying wide open. Looking to my left, I saw Jaiden fast asleep in my bed. I remembered last night so vividly. Especially the last words he spoke.
"I'll never leave you. I promise." Staring at Jaiden, I just couldn't help but smile. "I won't ever hurt you." I looked over to the right, seeing his shirt hanging on my desk chair. I stretched and quietly escaped the bed. Grabbing the long, white shirt I pulled it to my face. I inhaled deeply, smelling the cologne he always wore and a faint smell of mint. I had forgotten he was always chewing gum. I was yanked out of my reverie by a low chuckle. Realizing what I was doing, I instantly jumped back and threw the shirt across the room. Jaiden's eyes followed the garment as it coasted through the air and then pointed his gaze back at me, his expression full of amusement. I raised my hands up and shook them both, my face full of panic.
"I- It's not what it looks like!" I laughed, nervously.
"Well," Jaiden began, nonchalantly. "It looks to me that you were smelling my shirt." I gulped and looked down, scratching the back of my head.
"Uh," I muttered. "I guess it's exactly what it looks like then." Jaiden was suddenly right in front of me. He laughed inwardly and pulled me close to him. I felt the blood immediately rush to my face.
"You don't realize how cute you are," Jaiden revealed, his voice like sweet poison in my ears, "Especially when you blush." I looked down, avoiding his gaze.
"I- I'm not cute." I said, pouting. He put his hand under my chin and pulled my face back up to look at him, his green eyes glistening with a special shine. Once I saw them, I couldn't keep my eyes off those gorgeous jade hypnotizers. He really had me in a trance.
The feelings I had towards him at that moment, longing, desire, passion, confusion… but most of all… love. Love; I think I was finally understanding what that word meant. The more time I spent with Jaiden, the more the word 'love' came into view. I knew that love was more than just a word. It was also a feeling… a feeling that I felt towards Jaiden. I couldn't explain this feeling in words. But I knew love had to do with it.
...
"So it's official?" I asked him, quietly. Jaiden chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"Yes, Tye," He reassured me. "I'll call you when I get off the train, alright?" I nodded and looked down, tears threatening to spill over my eye's levees.
"Hey…" I heard Jaiden whisper. Sniffling, I rubbed my eyes and kept them on the concrete floor, knowing that if I looked at him again I'd completely loose it.
"W- What." He bent down and kissed my lips softly.
"I'll be back before you know it." He smiled at me and straightened up, gripping the handle on his suitcase. I crossed my arms and nodded. He leaned over and gave me one last kiss on the forehead. "I love you." He whispered in my ear. I gripped his arm.
"Do you have to go?" I asked shakily, my eyes still rimmed with tears.
"Tye…" He began but before he could continue, the woman on the speaker called his train's number. "I gotta go. See you soon, ok?" He waved and turned his back, running towards the train. I waited until it left the station before I turned and slowly sauntered toward the exit. Why did he have to go back to college? I thought to myself. We just became a couple. At least I get to visit him at his college next weekend.
It was around two in the morning when Jaiden finally called. I answered on the first ring.
"Jaiden!" I exclaimed.
"Hey!" I heard from the other line. I smiled at the sound of his voice.
"How was the ride?" I heard him mutter something and then his voice answered through the speaker.
"A tad bumpy. Let's just say I didn't get much sleep." I laughed and shook my head, even though he couldn't see me.
"Well then I'll let you get some sleep. Good night Jay." He chuckled quietly.
"Night. Love you." And with that he hung up. I kept my ear to the phone as I heard the dull ring it made when there was no connection. I realized right then, I'd never told him I loved him back.

"S-Sa-Sasuke," Naruto responded, "Umm. I-I.. " Why can't i say anything?!?! Naruto yelled at himself, "I've been looking for you."

"You were talking in your sleep, Naruto," Sasuke's smile grew. Naruto's face turned pinkish, "You were about to tell me something. Were you dreaming about me Naruto?" he asked curiously and stood up straight. Naruto's eyes grew wide and he sat up right.
