When Arcee got through to Bumblebee they went back to the base with Glider and the now calm Ratchet into the med bay to look at his damaged eye, due to the shot fired by Glider and also to patch up his arm.

Raf: (shouting to Miko on here ipod) Hay Miko there back!

Miko: (looking up at Glider) Hay who's the new guy?

Glider: Oh hi there (kneels down to see Miko) the name is Glider (smiles at her) and you are?

Miko: Im Miko cool name you got (smiles back)

Glider: (gets back up) Well thanks Miko so do you. I've got a human friend sort of like you. You should meet her sometime.

Raf now looking at Ratchet sitting in the med bay and noticed his damaged optic on the right side of his face.

Raf: (anxious) Are you ok Ratchet?

Ratchet mumbles something and turns his head away from Raf so he couldn't see his damaged optic.

Raf: (looks at Arcee) What happened?

Arcee: We got into a fight with Breakdown and one thing lead to another. Then Glider came to help us. We don't know why he was there or how he's on earth without us knowing. But he helped us and saved Ratchet. So I don’t think he’s one of the bad guys. For the moment any way.

Arcee didn’t tell Raf about how Ratchet optic was damaged and the incident they had with him going out of control in Glider’s hideout. To not upset him or Ratchet.

One hour later Glider patched up Ratchet best he could with what he had. While the others were waiting in the front of the base.

Glider and the slightly weak Ratchet walk in to greet the others.

Raf: (anxious) How you doing Ratchet?

Ratchet: (sigh) fine.. but..

Glider: But what?

Ratchet: nothing

Glider: Come on what is it?

Ratchet: I can't see that clearly out my right optic.

Glider: let me have a look at that. Hmmmm (looking at Ratchet’s eye) must be due to that shot to your face must of short circuit something.

Raf: can you fix it?

Glider: let me think (stops looking at Ratchet’s eye) got it! Hover come over I know you’re in here.

No one had even noticed that Hover had followed them through the door the Ground Bridge back to the base.

Hover goes over to see what Glider wanted.

Hover: Beep beep click (in Glider’s voice) “you called me”

Glider: Yes and do you know where that optic amplifier is?

Hover: Beep (in Glider’s voice) click "yes” click

Glider: Good go back through the Ground Bridge and get it (goes over to turns on the Ground Bridge so Hover can go back to the hideout).

Arcee: (Grabs Gliders hand off the switch to the Ground Bridge) Hay what are you doing!

Glider: Well Hovers isn’t going to teleport there is he. That would be cool though. Any way do you want my help or not.

Optimus: it’s ok Arcee we can trust him. Go ahead Glider.

Arcee: Fine.

Glider: Thank you (looks at Arcee) at least someone trusts me.

Glider turns on the Ground Bridge so Hover can go back to get this optic amplifier left somewhere in Glider’s hideout.

Hover comes back with this one sided blue metal rectangle lens device and gives it to Glider.

Glider: See that wasn’t too hard was it (looking at Arcee)

Arcee: Humf.

Glider: Ok Ratchet try this. (Gives the device to Ratchet) It was meant to be a lock on optic sensor but it didn’t work very well. But if I make a few adjustments it may help you see a bit better.

Ratchet: (looks at the device given to him) How does it work?

Glider: Simply place it over your right optic and the device will do the rest.

As Ratchet place it over his eye the wires on this blue metal rectangle lens device attaches to Ratchet's optic. This gave a little electric shock which made him twitch a bit and then Glider asks Ratchet to some simple tasks.

Ratchet: Ow! That hurt (put his hand over his right eye).

Glider: Don't worry it might hurt for a bit but it will pass. Right next I need you to do some tests for me to see if it's working properly.

Ratchet: (nods head) Ok.

Glider: Right I need you to make the optic sensor move like my battle visor ok. You might not get it first time but we will see.

Glider's battle visor came around from the sides of his face and back again, Ratchet repeated what he did and it moved in a juddering way as it was the first time he had use it. Then the same thing when it came back again to cover his eye.

Glider: For a first go that’s not bad. Right now I need some help. Hay kid’s do you want to help me.

Raf and Miko: Ya!

Glider: Ok. Gives you two something to do. Well I know you Miko but what's your name?

Miko: That's Raf.

Raf: Hi. (waving his hand)

Glider: Well hi. Hay Miko can you count to 10?

Miko:  (confused) Well du yes why?

Glider: Well I need you to write down some numbers on a board, or a piece of paper so Ratchet can tell me if he can read or see them ok?

Miko: Ok I will go and get my big marker (smiling then runs off).

Glider: Make sure there big enough for me to actually see to.

Raf:  (taps Glider’s foot) What do you want me to do Glider?

Glider: (goes to pick Raf up) Well I need you to move or change some wires if needed.

Raf: (confused) Ok but how?

Glider: Well when the device is on I can get to the parts on the outside by using my diagnostic machine built into my arm here. (a holographic screen come up one his arm and shows the device on Ratchet’s eye working) But the wires behind it I can’t get to. But you can. We can get it done in half the time instead of having to keep on taking it on and off all the time.

Raf: Ok I got it now. You want me to change anything you can’t get to.

Glider: That’s right ok  

Glider places Raf on the right side of Ratchet’s face so he can reach the wires.

Glider: Ok ready Ratchet.

Ratchet: Are you ok there Raf? I don’t want you fall off.

Raf: yea I’m fine just don’t move your head too much. I don't particularly want to fall off either. (balancing on the side of Ratchet’s face to reach the wires)

Glider:  Ok right then where’s Miko?

Miko: (running back in the room)  im coming.  (show them what she drawn) Like them.

She show them these bright colorful numbers which she did in her big art book. They looked a bit crazy but would have to do.

As Miko showed the numbers to Ratchet, Glider used his diagnostic machine to tell Raf what wires he needed to change to tune the optic sensor to Ratchet’s optic frequency so intern he could see better.

In the other room by the Ground Bridge Optimus speaks to Arcee and the others

Optimus: So what you’re saying is that all this time there was another Autobot here. On earth. But no one knew he was here.

Bumblebee: Beep (yep).

Optimus: And there is no record of him on our database either?

Arcee: No it’s like he does even exist!

Bulkhead: So then who is he?

Bumblebee: Beep epp beep be beep (it's like he doesn't even exist)

Arcee: Bee I just said that.

Bumblebee: Be Beep Beep Be Bepp (oh I didn't hear you)

Optimus: Hm..(goes over to Glider and ratchet in the med bay) Glider may I ask a question?

Glider: Yes in a bit. I’ve got to fixed doc bot here first.

Ratchet: what did you call me? Aw ow.

Raf: Sorry.

Glider: If you keep moving we can’t fix it.

Ratchet: Humf..Fine.

Optimus: Ok i will ask you when you’re done.

Glider: Thanks.    

Ratchet: Glider?

Glider: yes Ratchet.

Ratchet: May I ask you something

Glider: Go ahead.

Ratchet: Where did you get this thing? (pointing at the blue metal rectangle lens attach to his eye)

Glider: Well after the battle we had back on Cybertron I escaped from that ship called  “The Nemesis” and I snatched it off one of scientist there and..a.. oh darn it (realizing what he just said). (facepalm)

As the others are confused by this Optimus asks how Glider know about that particular Decepticon ship.

Glider: Er well... I wasn't even meant to tell you that.

Optimus: (puzzled) Why?

Glider: I've been authorized to not mention anything about me or..Well..Anything really.

Arcee: Why would someone authorized to not mention anything about your life.

Bulkhead: Yea that seems.

Miko: A bit strange?

Raf: Yea I agree

Glider: Well..well i ,,i(looking around)

Ratchet: I will tell them.

They all turn to look at the injured medic bot in wonder why would he know anything about Glider let alone what happened.

Glider: (surprised look) What no Ratchet we were told not to.We were.

Ratchet: They will need to know sooner or later Glider. Better to just tell them now.

Raf: Tell us what Ratchet? (still balancing on the side of Ratchet’s face)

Glider: let me get you off their Raf I don’t need you now. (picks up Raf and puts him on the floor next to Miko)

Raf: Thanks. As you were saying Ratchet.

Ratchet: Well Glider wasn't always Glider and if you look at him, you think that he is around the same age as bumblebee there. But you would be wrong and also the reason why he know so much about the Decepticon’s ship. But let’s start from the beginning.  On Cybertron many cycles ago before I was ask by prime to come on this mission to Earth. Glider was one of my second solar year students for being a medic in the field of battle. It was the day we all nearly lost are sparks.

Bumblebee: Beep? (How?)

Ratchet: That day we all got teamed up with a solder to keep an optic on in the field. I was teamed up with Blurr even though I did no good I could barely keep up with him, but no one can and for Glider he was teamed up with Cliffjumper..we..

Arcee: (surprised) Wait.. Cliffjumper?

Glider: Yes he just left guard duty and wanted to see if he could beat my score at the most headshots in a row. If you want to know it was 52 on a good day

Bulkhead: that's pretty good. What was his?

Glider: 40 i think. But in a race he beat me every time. Were not good at everything are we (fixed the blue metal rectangle attach to ratchets optic) all done Ratchet that should be better know.

Ratchet: (testing the device) Much better thank you Glider.

Glider: (smiles) See all that training you gave me didn’t go to waste. Ha ha!

Ratchet: As I was saying we all got teamed up with a solder to keep an optic on but one of the Autobot's in my medic group was a Decepticon spy and he lead all of us into a trap.

Miko: (listening intently) So what happened next?

Glider: Well hafe of the medic team were killed the other hafe escaped except me, Ratchet and another med bot. We were taken to a Decepticon scouting ship and were handcuffed so we could not escape. As we were all waiting to see what was going to happen a big dark shadow drifted in front of us with its one red dead optic glaring down on all of us.

Optimus: (thinking)"One optic?"( then looks at Hover)

Glider: Optimus I know what you’re thinking and no its not him. I built him a long time after that day.

Ratchet: And what happened next was not what any bot should have seen. As we were lined up this big cannon loomed from the darkness and then "BAING" the shot went past the other med bot's head and he had black out from the shock of thinking he was dead. But because of that I assumed he was deemed unworthy because he was shot in the head and killed right there beside us.

Glider: Then the dark shadow drifted to me and as I stood up, I showed no fear I was never going to back down to this piece of tin can. So the big cannon loomed from the darkness again and.. "BAING" the shot mist me and hit my handcuffs. I broke free from them and I tried to kill the pile of scrap metal in front of me. But they restrained me and rehandcuffed my hands. The looming dark figure came from the darkness and said in its deep voice "you will do let the other one go" and then look at me with his one red dead optic and said "you will be the greatest Decepticon weapon in all history".
