1195.4 - 02-11 - The Canyon Chase

Well, here it is, finished. It's nice to finally get round to spending time making a much bigger, ,better, more detailed drawing, with a full background, and that tells a story... lots more work, but with much more satisfying results.
For those that missed the beginning, here's the story...

What I imagined was an Indiana Jones style car chase, with old racing cars, taking place in an american type desert, ending up at the end of a canyon, where one guy manages to skid to halt right at the edge, whilst the other can't stop in time and plummets to his doom, whilst the 'victor' looks down on him from the canyon's edge.
I'd even imagined more than isn't exactly easy to show in a drawing... I imagined the victor being the badass 'good guy', a mix between a polite, noble english fellow from the 18th century, and a pirate. Obviously something happened somewhere, and he finds himself at the pursuit of the 'bad guy' , a mercenery/rogue military type fellow, ending in the car chase, the good guy - which I'm calling Neville because it suits his coat somehow - keeps a somewhat calm, determined attitude, skillfully and confidently piloting his car to catch the bad guy. Not sure what his name is. He shouldn't have much problems with that, considering that he's driving a 1930 Bentley 8-Litre. The bad guy (in a 1929 Maserati Type 22B), unable to shake his nearing pursuer, gets more and more nervous and, losing concentration and unable to react in time when the canyon's edge becomes visible, ends up recklessly driving his car over the edge, is ejected from it, helplessly falling, his last moments spent seeing his pursuer standing tall, almost mocking him, at the edge of the canyon...
