Description

Just an exercise in digital painting... and head perspective. I'd really love some pointers on Digital painting because I know I'm not fantastic at it, particularly when Its not a Iscribble drawing. Sooo yeah...

Okay, first off.
Hair <3

On all positive notes, the anatomy is good mostly, the eyes are livley and 3-D, which is very hard to acheive XD and the perspective is very good.

On all negative notes, the horns seem a bit... loose. Some of the hair does seem to be flowing in the wrong direction. Assuming the dragon is flying to the bottom-left area of the canvas, the hair would all be pointing toward the top right of it. Then you can make it kinda wild and fun XD
The nostrils are also a bit crooked, but we're all guilty of that XD'''

Tips for improvement... well, I would make the mouth a bit less... obvious. On dragons, unless it has big lips, the mouth is basically a cup overlapping a bigger cup. There should be a slight shadow and a little of the top hanging off, but not so black. This dragon seems to have lips at the back and a solid beak at the front. Lips are often a different colour than the rest of the dragon, but I never put that in. It's your choice for the lips XD
Also try beefing up the horns next time. Even curving horns like this can be boring. As you saw on iscribble, there was a dragon I was doing that had the craziest horns XD (go look at it now. It has crazy horns) Never be afraid to experiment with this, but be sure to reference real animals!

I rated low on Impact because you weren't really going for it. The only reason I made it so high was because this painting made me g 'Woah!' when I first saw it.
