to explain this a little better

in the MLP universe exists a race called Gallopfreyan they are basically Equine versions of the Gallifreans.

The Doctor has crashed his tardis into Equestria and has taken on the form of an Equine as well.....
little does he know, his alternate universe self, Doctor Whooves, also lives in Equestria and has a Tardis of his own.
