All art and writing, to count towards evolution of animals, must appear as if effort was put into them. We reccomend at least flat colors and a background for visual pieces or around 1000 words for a written piece.

About ranchers
Ranchers in Raccolto raise livestock. Animals and the products from animals will be shown in your inventory, and your character can, indeed, have the animals you buy for them. A Ranch upgrade will increase the sturdiness of the barn and fence that a Ranch will have. Consequently it will be much safer for the livestock.

:bulletblack: Basic (default for Ranchers) -- Cheaply made, easily damaged by weather. Gets cold in the winter. Included fence is made of unprocessed branches. Comes with a barn that holds 4 Pokemon.
:bulletblack: Medium -- Slightly stronger, can withstand a bit more. There is sometimes a chill in the winter. Fence is now made of processed wood: sturdier and larger. Barn now holds 6 Pokemon.
:bulletblack: Large -- Strong and reliable. Winter isn’t a problem. The fence is upgraded to stone. Barn now holds 8 Pokemon.
:bulletblack: Luxury -- Will never get damaged by weather. Climate is properly controlled to keep your Pokemon happy. The fence has been upgraded to Golden Timber. Barn now holds 10 Pokemon.

Work-related submissions
It may seem a little boring to draw your character hanging out with their animals all over again but let your creativity flow. There are more facets to ranching than what meets the eye. How about making a new fence to keep dangerous carnivores away? Or maybe the Mareep need to be clipped, the cows milked, stables need to be cleaned? Provide some others with your animal products, 'sell' them at the market or prepare them for a transport. Don't limit yourself to drawing the same kind of pictures again and again, it is not needed for livestock to grow. As long as they are included in the picture (even if they are not the focus), it counts towards their growth.

Animals
Ranch animals must be purchased, and will always be at the youngest evolution. After your character has interacted enough with the animal (in art or writing), the Pokemon will evolve. Once they're evolved, your character must interact with them in art before you can obtain the animal products.

Miltank & Skiddo/Gogoat
Miltank are the Cows and Skiddo are the goats of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce milk. Gogoat produce milk of higher quality.
Females produce milk while Males are breeders.

Mareep/Flaffy/Ampharos
Mareep are the Sheep of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce wool.
Flaafy produce a higher quality wool. Mareep will evolve into Flaafy after producing for a long enough time and having enough love.
Both Males and Females can produce wool.

Ducklett/Swanna & Psyduck/Golduck
Ducklett are the Ducks of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce eggs.
Psyduck also produce eggs, but may get confused on this task and will not lay them. However, when they do, they are worth more than Ducklett eggs. Psyduck are RARE and are granted in event by Mod. Golduck eggs are worth their weight in gold!
Females produce eggs while Males are breeders.

Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken
Torchic are the Chickens of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce eggs.
Combusken produce a higher quality of eggs. Torchic will evolve after producing for a long enough time and having enough love.
Females produce eggs while Males are breeders.

Doduo/Dodrio
Doduo are the Ostriches of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce eggs.
Dodrio produce a higher quality of eggs. Doduo will evolve after producing for a long enough time and having enough love. Doduo and Dodrio may be used, for RP purposes, as mounts.
Females produce eggs while Males are breeders.

Swinub/Piloswine/Mamoswine & Tepig/Pignite/Emboar & Spoink/Grumpig
Swinub are the Pigs of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce truffles.
Piloswine produce a higher quality of truffles. Swinub will evolve after producing for a long enough time and having enough love.
Both Males and Females can locate truffles.

Wurmple/Silcoon/Beautifly/Cascoon/Dustox & Caterpie/Metapod/Butterfree & Burmy/Wormadam/Mothim & Sewaddle/Swadloon/Leavanny & Scatterbug/Spewpa/Vivillon
Wurmple, Caterpie, Burmy, and Sewaddle are the silkworms of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce Silk.
Evolutions produce a higher quality of silk. Wurmple will evolve after producing for a long enough time and having enough love. The path it will take evolving will be completely random. The others will evolve after enough love, but of course their evolution is set.
Both Males and Females can produce silk.

Weedle/Kakuna/Beedrill & Combee/Vespiqueen
These are the Bees of Harvest Pokemoon. They produce Honey.
Beedrill and Vespiqueen produce Royal Honey. They will evolve after enough love has been given to them.
Both Males and Females can produce Honey.

Breeding Pokemon
Has your ranch pokemon found love? Is there some striking beauty strolling by? Then perhaps you may want to consider breeding! Here are the rules for bringing your own cute little babies into this world!

Breeding Your own Pokemon
To breed two of your own pokemon you will need:
:bulletyellow: One male and one female Pokemon of the same egg group.
:bulletyellow: Draw a picture of these two Pokemon bonding.
:bulletyellow: Note the group announcing their love and desire!

Breeding with Another's Pokemon
To breed with another member's pokemon you will need:
:bulletyellow: One male and one female pokemon of the same egg group.
:bulletyellow: Members of the breeding should either produce a collaborative piece, or two separate pieces of the Pokemon bonding.
:bulletyellow: Note the group announcing their love and desire, and who the baby will go to!

Some rules to remember are that:
:bulletyellow: A female can only breed once a month.
:bulletyellow: The baby will be the mother's species.
:bulletyellow: Pokemon do not have to be in the same category to breed. Meaning Pets can breed with Garden, or Ranch with farm.
:bulletyellow: If it is anything other than a Ranch pokemon, then a slot must be paid for accordingly.
:bulletyellow: The baby will come in the form of an egg which the owner may hatch, with artwork, after the breeding.

Upgrades and Purchases
Now, your character gets to start out with a basic home and a basic ranch. But don’t you want more for your character? Here is a list of everything you could possibly buy for your character, and a few things you can buy as an RPer!

Please note, all upgrades build on top of the other: That is, you can’t buy a Large Home without first having paid for a Medium Home.

To buy something, note the group, put in the subject "I'd like to buy..." and make sure to tell us what you want to buy and your character's name. If you have enough Pokedollars, it will be added to your character's inventory.
When purchasing an animal, please give it a name and a gender.

I have a few questions regarding ranch animals!
Firstly, our first ranch animal... Do we have to buy it or do we just start with one and have to buy all the subsequent livestock?
Then, I was wondering if some other pokemon would be eligible as perhaps "exotic ranch animals" such as Tropius for bananas? Or cottonee for cotton? I know they're technically produce items, but since they come from a pokemon, could they be considered? *big shiny hopeful eyes*
