The Hunt for Mysterical Eggs - Ch. 1

Miss Stempali's classroom


Swift Vilunim, a petite blonde-haired girl with a pony-tail and blue eyes that are blue as the ocean. At sixteen years of age, she dreamed about her goal to pursue being an adventurer, learn how to fight using a rapier instead of a sword and find hidden treasure around the lands. Her name came from her fast running speed and agility when she was little.

Just as the war uproared, Swift was confined to an All-Girls Boarding School to stay behind. Her life at school did not turn out well. She was constantly bullied by some mean girls and she is rebellious towards everyone. Her brawling personality frequently gets her into trouble with a crabby old lady, Miss Stempali, the main teacher of Miss Stempali's All-Girls school.

One day, Swift was fast asleep during a long lecture. She had a dream about having an adventure to seek hidden treasure and become rich. The dream lasted for a short time before Miss Stempali snapped her out of her trance.

"Swift!" Miss Stempali shouted across from her desk; the harshness of her voice startled Swift instantly waking her up. "Are you even paying attention, little lady?" she said holding up her book.

"Yes, Miss Stempali." Swift said as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. "Sorry. Miss Stempali."

"Good. Being sorry is better." Miss Stempali said bitterly. "I don't promote laziness in my boarding school."

"Yeah, well being a grouchy teacher all the time doesn't promote YOU to be a supportive teacher." Swift scoffed in a sarcastic tone.

Miss Stempali couldn't believe what she just heard from the words passing out of the girl's lips. She put down the book, grabbed a paddle out from her desk, picked Swift up by the collar of her shirt as if she was a basket and propped her onto her lap.

"No! Please!" Swift screamed, kicking her legs in front of the whole class watching the climax of the corporal punishment.

Miss Stempali raised her paddle in the air and proceeded on performing the corporal punishment by spanking her behind really hard as stone. Swift continued to scream as the class continued to watch.

Miss Stempali finished as she picked Swift up and plopped her back down to her desk.

"Now I hope you learn your lesson, little Vilunim." Miss Stempali told her. "Or you'll end up somewhere where happiness in fairy tales does not exist."

Swift's Room


After school ended for the day, Swift thought of an idea. An innovative idea to escape the reality of the evil clutches from Miss Stempali and the bully princess, Lightning with blue hair and twin tails on each side and is slightly taller.

"Oh, look who's here." Lightning said as if she never had met Swift for the first time. "The little baby Vilunim received a corporal punishment."

Swift ignored her, turned around on her bed and stared at the wall. Lightning continued blabbing to her. By the minute Valerie continued to make unpleasant comments including her parents disowned her increasing Swift's temper as if she is going to erupt as a volcano.

Swift jumped up at her and wrestled with her.

"What if your mommy ever abandoned you?" Swift said as she pulled both Lightning's twin tails on her hair really hard. "She left you here because you are the meanest, self-absorbed, arrogant girl I ever laid my eyes on."

"I should say the same thing." Lightning responded as she tried to push Swift off from her. "No wonder your parents left a temperamental baby here."

Everyone gathered up to watch the fight. Some of them jeered and some of them were feared. The fight was short-lived as Miss Stempali concluded the fight and scolded Lightning at first but let her go scot-free.

"And you, young lady..." Miss Stempali said apprehending Swift and looking at her straight in the eyes. "I have warned you the last time about your nasty habits of fighting."

Swift tried to defend herself. "But, she made fun of me!" she said. "You're just doing a poor job of being a teacher here!"

"I don't want to hear any more out of you, young lady." Miss Stempali replied by putting her hand in front of her face as if she is going to make Swift talk to the hand. "I'm going to give you a last chance. But next screw up, it is suspension where happiness in fairy tales do not exist."

Miss Stempali left and closed the door behind her. Swift stuck her tongue out at her.

Later at four in the morning, Swift opened her eyes, quietly put on her blue tunic with a brown furry collar, navy blue leather gloves, dark shorts, a big yellow bow on her back near her behind and yellow shoes. She picked up her rapier she secretly snatched during her fencing class and tied up knots on her bed sheets to create a climbing rope.

Swift threw the ball of the tied up sheets hanging from a bed knob and proceed to climb down slowly. She jumped carefully onto the surface and darted silently towards the gate. However, the gate was locked. After numerous attempts of destroying the lock, she thought of a simple way. Her idea was to have something with a sharp pointy tip act as a key to unlock anything. As she finally unlocked the lock, she opened the gate slowly and took a few paces until she was out of the zone.

Swift sighed in relief as she felt freedom drawing near her. "I'll no longer sit around and be the laughingstock for the rest of my life." She said to herself. "Now it is time to start an adventure and get away from here forever!"

She dashed quick as lightning away from Miss Stempali's All-Girl school and embarked on her journey.
