A new pony of mine, Wingnut Glider. Commonly known to her friends as "Glide".

She is a unicorn, filly of a pegasus father and a unicorn mother, a lineage that has gifted her with the natural cloud walking ability of a pegasus, but without the wings to compliment it.

All of her life she has longed to experience the skies as her father does, while he was more than happy to carry her into the air when she was younger, he has gotten on in years and isn't a strong young buck anymore.

At a young age Glide showed skill with engineering. Typical of unicorns, she knows only a few small spells that aid in her mechanical ventures.

Her magic is the main power source of her latest invention, a pair of magic powered wings that will allow her to acheive her dream of flight.

Cutie Mark Story

She was always tinkering with machines as a filly; wind-up clock work toys, pulley systems for stages and things like that. But it wasn't till she realised she could use her magic to manipulate a wooden bird toy
(The kind where you pull on a string under it and the wings flap)
that she became inspired to build her own wings to fly.

Thats when her cutie mark appeared. The hexagonal nut represents her love of all things mechanical and her passion to use machines to improve pony lifestyles. The wings on the nut represent her dream of flying on her own like any pegasus.

She personally dislikes her name of "wingnut" as it feels a bit too literal for her tastes and insteads prefers to go by the name of "Glide" or "Glider".
