HOLIDAY BUST COMMISSIONS: CLOSED

Hey people! These are just some details about commissions. It's a bit of a running dA tradition for me (and several artists) now to open for HOLIDAY BUST commissions. This year I'm debating opening up in 10/15. There was a waiting list I had offline for people who'd wanted commissions. I unfortunately don't have it anymore so we'd have to basically start over.

Some history:

Back in winter of '05 I got this idea from to do character bust commissions. I'd fallen into a bit of a financial crisis and it seemed like a great way to bring in some extra money. I ended up taking WAY more than I could handle though. 20 busts turned into 100... and took me a LONG time to finish them. When I opened for more a few years later I took them only a handful at a time.

So a bust is basically character profile. Usually they stop just below the chest. Each SINGLE character bust is $30.00 USD. They're sketched, inked, and colored in Photoshop CS2 at 300DPI. If you chanced a look through my gallery (I hope you did :3) you'll notice the way I complete each bust has changed as my artists skills improve.

Ordering a Holiday Bust Commission:

Step 1:NO NOTES PLEASE. When commissions open, simply reply to the journal entry with: HOLIDAY BUST COMMISSION PLEASE!. Just like that, in all caps. I'll skim the journal and respond only to these replies ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the same entry.

Step 2: Please Do NOT send anything until I respond to you. I'll reply with PENDING! and my paypal address.

Step 3: Your payment and ref/descript must be sent within THREE days after I put you in PENDING status. If I don't receive them I'll have to cancel your commission and move to the next person on the list. I'll do another run through to miss any cancelled commissions if you're still interested.

Step 4: I only need ONE to THREE reference images. Here's an example: nashya.deviantart.com/art/Holi… . This is really all I need. Just upload to scraps on dA or whatever host you choose and link it in Paypal If you don't have images a text file in place of the image is fine. Please try to keep all descriptions fairly short. Remember it's just your characters design from the chest up.

Step 5: I'm only able to accept Paypal right now. I'm sorry. Please visit www.paypal.com and set up an account if you don't have one. It's free and easy.

Please put 'HOLIDAY BUST/YOUR DA NAME' in the subject line and put your ref link in the notes. Send payments under PURCHASE and GOODS/SERVICES. Once you submit the payment, I will follow up with 'ACCEPTED'. There's nothing else for you to do after this. Unless you used the wrong email for me, I should get your payment just fine .

So WHEN do I get my commission?

I haven't decided how many I'll take (if I get any at all). My goal is to take up to 5 a week and finish them one at a time then send them all out by 12/15. I upload the hi-res file to sendspace.net and send you the link via NOTES. I'll reply to the original journal with "COMMISSION COMPLETE".
