Description
This is my first acrylic painting, done in student quality paint by Daler-Rowney (System 3). So please be gentle with criticism but let me know what you think. If any painters have an tips for improving my future acrylic work then I'm eager to learn!
The subject is one of the 80-odd species of Morpho butterfly. Some tribes in the area are especially careful to treat these butterflies well as they believe that when one enters a hut it's the spirit of an ancestor, come to visit them.
