Past vs. Present vs. Future Contest Entry

It's finally finished!!!!!

This is my entry for `krissi001's Past vs. Present vs. Future emoticon contest.

Despite my efforts to make the concept clearer than it was, I'm still conscious that to others, it may not be entirely clear what's going on here. Cue explanation...

Recently, probably due to the time in my life as well as the time of year, I've been thinking about my future and where I'm heading... and what I've been thinking it is - I HAVE NO IDEA! So, as with any emotion, I put it into art. This is a little emote to represent me and (a very, very, very simplified version of) my life. So far.

So, first it's baby emote, doing what babies do best - crying.
Then it grows into what I suppose is toddler/child emote, who is perhaps beginning or learning to do what I do best, which is drawing on the walls in crayon.
After that it moves into the present day. This adolescent emote is supposed to be studying/reading (yes, that's a book), and then happily bounces off, until...
INVISIBLE METAPHORICAL WALL.
This is where the story ends. We just don't know what comes next. After a while a portal appears to transport the emote to the distant and mysterious future - who knows what lies beyond it, but the emote certainly looks happy to see it, so maybe the future is bright.

And that's that.
Maybe it isn't as clear as I originally intended, but I'm hoping that if you read this you can grasp the general idea. Either way, it was fun to make. Apart from the bit where I had to paste either 'Past' 'Present' or 'Future..?' into each of 245 frames individually.

Finally, I actually went to great lengths to make this emote represent me, while still trying to keep it relatively subtle:

The colour is as close as I could get to my hair colour, which is a mixture of just about everything just to be confusing.
Green is my favourite colour, so both the crayon and the book are that colour.
I made it left-handed on purpose.
Any notice the awkward little nod and blush? Shyness - that's one of mine, too. ;D
Then there's the drawing and reading, both of which I love.

P.S - I think I included everything I wanted to say here... I had it all written out in Sta.sh ready for submission, but when it came to it, everything got deleted. Typical.
So I had to redo it and now I'm paranoid that I've missed something important.
