This page was interesting and challenging but definitely fun. And Im very pleased with how it turned out, especially in the colors. Im not used to working on a bunch of 'everyday' environments and I really wanted to sell them in this book, but in my own way. Chris gives me a lot of big pages like this for me to just roam free.
I believe his response to this page was "Dude, you rendered the SHIT out of that wood!"
About 90% of the garage is accurate to
's original designs. I tried my best to stay true and use a similar style while bringing the characters out by simplifying them. You'll see a lot of that in the colors too.
