Dammit, Dash... your colour scheme clashes with everything.


Ponies... in a club... because I could.


So, late last year I jumped on the YouTubes to see what all the fuss over this pony thing was. Long story short: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic falls solidly into the "way better than it has any right to be" category... as in it's really, very, annoyingly, addictively good.

This started off as a quick layout sketch during ten minutes of downtime at work around December-ish then just sort of snowballed. Initially brought on by some of the music being released by the fandom (pretty much in the order that I used them as a soundtrack. The first is the one that sparked the whole thing, but the latter probably suit the mood better, being a bit more downbeat):

For the record the club is based loosely on Brisbane's Cloudland... which looks a whole lot cooler. For those not in on the pony thing: normal service shall resume shortly.
