An Expose-Lit Guide
Five reasons to use the forums:
1. you meet people,
2. it’s easy to find deviants with similar interests/opinions to you,
3. if you post frequently, others will start to nose in your gallery,
4. you can get sucked into projects, competitions, and groups, leading to more exposure in the community,
5. also, you meet people.
Different forums suit different people, so even if you don’t feel at home in the literature forum, don’t let that put you off books & comics.
Literature Forum
The character of the literature forum is somewhat intellectual. The pace of conversation is steady, but not frantic, and well-thought-out topics and responses are appreciated. It undeniably purrs loudest when a good debate is underway.
Topics to get you going:
ApostateRook wants to know your opinion of rhyming poetry
xMimameidx wants to hear what you think about nature literature
and I want you to write poems using nonsense words.
Other bonuses available only in the lit forum include the monthly critique thread and the list of literature groups.
Advice before starting your first topic:
Read the guidelines!
Think of a good topic. A good topic is anything that will get people talking – but make sure there isn’t a thread on it already.
Be prepared to respond to most of the responses you receive; people like to be listened to
Books & Comics Forum
Books & comics has a more light-hearted feel. Deviants from all over the site recommend their favourite books and mangas, discuss what they’re reading, and share their opinions of the latest popular series.
Topics to get you going:
xoPumpkinLovexo asks whether you read the classics?
taylor17387 wants to know your views on epublishing.
