Literature Text

I think about you every day, you know,
are you okay?
I know it's white in there,
But you can make it colorful, I know,
You hear everything thing in color, I see,
you will be okay without me.

I think about you every day, you know,
I'm not quite okay- not yet.
Lots of crazy in my room,
lots of crazy here without you.
It's colorful on the white, I like it quite okay,
I can make paintings on the wall,
just for you and me,
I'm not okay without you.

I think about you every hour, you know,
I wish that you were here but I know it's not the best, for you,
I'm glad about the white and it's colors, for you,
thanks for the painting,
I'm sure it's beautiful- I love it,
I love you.

I think about you every hour, you know,
are you okay, you don't seem quite yourself these days,
I'd show you my painting if you could hear it,
maybe I'll play it for you someday,
I hope you're okay.

I think about you every minute, you know,
I'm okay, I worry about you though,
all day wishing I was there but
I know it's best I'm not.

I think about you every minute, all the time, you know,
I'm not okay, come see me.
I don't care if the nurses say not,
I was to see you no matter what,
you're not them, not inside my head,
you're real.
So, this is supposed to be a dialogue between two friends: one in the psych ward of a hospital and one wanting to come see the friend in the psych ward. Mhm. This is also my song for January 7th.

theme # 38, abandoned. Think about this one, too.
