My newest pride and joy!

A double portrait of princess Zelda and Link.

Total size of each drawing:
1" x 1" / 25mm x 25mm / €2.-

Back in the NES era Zelda was the first game I liked to play.
...Good old times!

While Zelda was the last portrait I've drawn in 2011, Link's portrait was the first of 2012. I used two references for the poses, but changed their facial appearances to my heart's content. :)

I spent about half an hour on placing the eye shimmering with white gel by using a needle. In between every heartbeat my hand was steady enough to press the needle (+ white gel) on paper. But even then I hit the needle 0.3mm too high or too low for about 2 or 3 times, and I had to start all over again.

The pencil in the picture is to show how small they really are. Both portraits were, as usual, drawn with mechanical pencils.

I'm thinking about selling these 2 portraits, so if you're interested in buying them, don't hesitate to send me a note!

God, these are awesome! I love how Link doesn't have the typical serious guy look, but rather looks kind of mischievous... and wolfish, which is ironic. :P So awesome that these are so small, too! Amazing talent!
