Tao's Destruction, part 3

"You guys have GOT to help!" He nearly begged, panicking. "My partner just jolted off after Sorbet, even before there were any real plans on how to handle him. Stupid, prideful absol." He added on, the last sentence almost a whisper.

"Well isn't that a little-" The treecko started, only to get interrupted.

"Sure!" The charmander answered, running off towards where Shilk came from. The treecko sighed as the Pichu giggled and followed him.

"Thank you guys!" Shilk thanked, following the two. The treecko stood there, a single sweat drop going down the back of his head.

"...dangerous?" He asked, chasing after them. Along the way Shilk learned their names were Cam, the charmander, Misty, the pichu he'd met back when he first got the egg, and... treecko.

"By the way, have we met before?" Cam asked curiously.

"I know I've met Misty, but I'm not sure about you guys." Shilk answered.

"Odd, you do seem familiar."  Treecko pointed out, Cam's expression agreeing with him.

Around that time they caught up to the other group. There stood an ampharos with a stunky on her head playing a strange triangle. As she did the snow and glacier winds blew away from them.

And then there was Nightshade, her horn glowing from a sword dance she must have preformed earlier. She was just fast enough to catch the majority of Sorbet's attention and narrowly dodge cold blast after cold blast, but her growl had to been from the anger of not having an opening. This clearly angered the Kyurem as well, as when he opened his mouth next everyone's ears began to ring from just the sheer pitch of his voice, causing an explosion in the snow next to the stubborn absol and sent her flying.

"Nightshade!" Shilk nearly screamed, rolling over to her.

"Back... off..." She responded, the glow from her horn no longer present. "I've... got this..." She told him, getting up and charging again. When she did Cam unleashed a flamethrower on Sorbet to catch his attention, though sending another explosive screech towards him. This separated the trio that Shilk had found quite a ways from each other.

"You can't hide! Cheap tricks will do you no good!" Sorbet yelled, an aura glowing around him as rocks formed from the pure energy that emitted from it. It let out another roar towards the sky as the rocks blasted out in every direction. IT was a scramble to get away, and the stunky nearly lost her hold on the ampharos' head during the mess.

This, however, signaled the zangoose to move in for his attack. Both him and Nightshade fast enough on their feet to dodge the rocks, each striking from a different angle. A lightning fast horn strike from one side, a venomous jab from the other. However Sorbet did not move nor waver, but merely returned the strikes with more waves of frozen wind.

While the zangoose was able to dodge it well, Nightshade's was a bare miss. It was clear that she was wearing down. Between the hyper voice earlier and the amount of energy she had exhausted it would not be long until Sorbet got to her.
