Hes performing the lope in this image, which is pretty comfortable for any rider. Hes got a rolling gait with little bounce, something thats always good to have.

"This horse has a ride thats as smooth as butter." Tatiana chirped to Thomas as they rode around the round pen. The man in the center was nodding with approval at the Chevalier horse and his rider.

"He looks like a dream from where Im standing. Good positioning, and a relaxed neck. Not too fast, or slow." the man replied, slowly turning in a circle to keep an eye on the animal.


Tatiana nodded, then slowed General down to a walk, and then a halt. He brushed her hair from her eyes and sat deeper in the western saddle as General moved his neck from side to side, following the reigns gentle tug as Tatiana encouraged him to relax his neck. He nibbled on his bit quietly afterwards, head low to the ground while his rider spoke to the trainer.
