The Rose Witch and the Bone Lord.

There's quite a story behind this illustration, though sadly it's one that's a little long to tell. I hope that you enjoy these two.

Fairy Tale was created for the "Bi-Polar Love Song" art show taking place in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I'd wanted to experiment with using textures in the same manner as some Japanese manga that I admire, as well as attempt to create something that looked "professional" to some degree.





The pose is based on this image from the game Angelique Etoile.

The floral texture was created from a tapestry laying next to my desk.
