Princess (Name) sat in the garden, angry. Her one day out of the palace was completely ruined by the palace guards. She sighed
Well ... so long freedom She thought
Then her mind turned to Bakura ... the one person who treated her like a normal person. He was a little cold and standoffish but ... she could see a tiny flicker of good in there somewhere ... she had to talk to Kaiba and confront him about the arrest. As if on cue, Kaiba ventured into the garden
"Ah, there you are. The Pharaoh is asking after you" He said
She stood up
"Alright, but before I do ... why did you order Bakura's arrest?" She asked
Kaiba looked at her with his infamous smug grin
"For kidnapping the Princess, of course" He said
"But, I ran away!" She said
"Oh, if I had known ... I wouldn't have given permission for him to be punished accordingly" He said
"Can't you stop it?" She asked
"I'm afraid that it has already been carried out" He replied
"Wh-what's that?" She asked, frightened of what the answer would be
"Death ... by beheading" He replied, looking solemn
"N-no ..." She breathed, falling to her knees
He died ... because of me ... She thought, starting to cry
"I'm so sorry" He said, bending down to comfort her
"Get off me!" She snapped, getting up and running away in tears
-Meanwhile-
"GAH! Curse these shackles!" Bakura said
He had been trying to break free from the wall for over an hour. He was tired and angry
This isn't so bad I guess. At least they'll feed me ... He thought, sighing
Suddenly, he heard movement
"Who's there?" He asked angrily
A stranger in a cloak with a cowl came out of the shadows. He walked up to Bakura and picked the locks on the shackles
"Quick, come with me" He hissed
Bakura was suspicious. He never trusted anyone ... why should this guy be different?
"Where are you taking me?" He asked
"I want you to do something for me. Obviously, you'll be rewarded" the stranger said
Bakura liked the sound of a reward ... but he didn't like the idea of helping someone out ... he hated other human beings ... with the exception of the Princess ... for some reason, he liked her ... he had no idea why
"It depends on what it is" He said, narrowing his eyes
"Well, you can follow me and do one small favour ... or you could rot in this prison. It's up to you" the stranger said
Bakura sighed angrily
This is exactly why I hate other people He thought
He began to consider the possibility that this reward could benefit him in some way ...
"Alright, let's see what you've got" He said
The stranger chuckled in a sinister fashion
"Come with me" He hissed
The stranger led Bakura out of the cell via a secret tunnel and led him to a cave
"In here?" Bakura asked
"Yes. All I desire is the lamp. Bring it to me ... and you shall have your reward" the stranger replied
Bakura looked at the cave suspiciously as he entered it. Oddly, it was well lit and there seemed to be no signs of anyone trying to get in. In the far corner of the cave was a small lamp, no bigger than his foot. It was awfully old and dirty. He couldn't believe that someone would break him out of prison for such a small thing
"Oh well, I just take this and I'll go" He said, shrugging
He picked it up and the cave began to collapse
Typical! He thought angrily
As he tried to make a break for the exit, a rock struck him on the head and he fell to the ground, unconscious ...
-Meanwhile-
Princess (Name) was in her room, crying. The Pharaoh came into the room, looking surprised
"My dear daughter, what's wrong?" He asked
She looked at him
"Kaiba ... he did something ... terrible" She sobbed
He sighed and sat beside her on her bed. He held her tightly in a hug
"There, there. Tell me all about it" He said, patting her head

Marik: Ah! *stumbles a bit* What the hell?
Angel: It's so much fun catching you guys off guard. *gets off* Ne, Marik-kun, would you mind letting me interview you? Please?
Marik: Uh, fine. But no more glomping me. *blush*
Angel: You really don't like the thought of possibly ripping that shirt, do you?
Marik: No, I don't. I happen to like this shirt.
Angel: *sits down in a chair* Anyways. Let's start with your name.
Marik: *sits in another chair across from her* Well, as you know, my name is Marik Ishtar. And I happen to like my name.

Interview - Ryou
Angel: *grabs notepad and pencil and looks around* Now where is the little cutie?
Ryou: *walks into the room* Um, hey. You said you wanted to talk to me?
Angel: First off... *huggles Ryou* So damn cute...! ^w^
**three minutes later**
Ok. Got that out of my system. Now on to business. ^-^ *sits down* Ok, so, first off, can you tell us your name?
Ryou: Um, Ryou Bakura. *is confused* I thought you already knew my name? *sits down across from her*
Angel: I do but it's a standard question. You always start an interview with the name. So, what was it like when the Spirit of the Ring, better known simply as Bakura, first entered your body? I'

AtemxReader: Thief to Princess Part 2
"I can't do this." You cursed, throwing the quill onto the table in front of you. The ink splattered on the piece of parchment, which had several scribbles on it.
"Even a child can learn to write their own name." The scribe commented, a look of pure boredom in his eyes. Ever since Atem had announced that he was going to court you, the scribes, priestess and every other noble had been treating you coldly when you weren't in the presence of Atem.
"They have been learning to read and write for years, I'm just starting." You mumbled under your breath. You had never learned to read; there was no one to teach you. When Atem found out, he offered
