Personality: Tessa Makel Robins is extremely gentle. She's a bit shy around strangers, but will always help others in need. She tends to be a bit on the quiet side, though she's always included in conversations. Tessa's the 'it' girl, but without the snotty attitude. She's into all the coolest things, and can afford them, but unlike Beth, she doesnt flash her money around much. Dispite having a privileged life, Tessa's still managed to hold on to herself.
Even though Tessa's generally very sweet and easy to get along with, she does get mad, and then even Beth looks like a harmless kitten. When Tessa is pushed, she snaps, yells, threatens, and even gets physical. This comes from having a tiny smidgen of anger-management issues. Basically, Tessa's an angel, until you piss her off.
History: Tessa was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. Her whole life has been cushioned. Never having to take care of herself, never being forced to do things she'd rather not do. She grew up without rules for the most part, but through it all she's remained true to herself. Tessa's parents were never hard on her, though they made it obvious from the very first that they had her life planned out for her, and they made it very clear that it had nothing to due with the horses. However, Tessa constantly avoided their other projects, always ending up on the back of a horse or pony while they grazed in the paddock. She took many hard falls, but never stopped trying. Finally, when she was 5 years old, her parents relized that she had her own future in mind, whether or not they supported it. They gave her one of the gentler horses in the stable, and Tessa couldn't have been prouder. All along, she'd known that was were she belonged, and now at last she could be there all the time.
Though she was young, Tessa threw herself into working with her horse and the trainer her parents had assigned to her. She started entering shows when she was seven, and her parents were amazed by how well she did. They bought her a young cross-bred filly when she was ten, not believing she could acctually make much of it. To their great surprise, she once more brought home ribbon after ribbon, trophy after trophy. Finally, her parents realized the talent she had, and agreed to send her to a riding school not far away. On the day of her fifteenth birthday, Tessa was packed and ready to go. As the limo pulled up to take her to the academy, she hugged her parents, loaded up her newest horse, and they were off. Once at the academy, Tessa instantly met up with Elizabeth Howard. Beth was all the things Tessa wasn't, but somehow the girls formed a lasting friendship. By the time the year was over, they had made their plans. Tessa would move to Rimrock Ranch with Beth as soon as she got home.
