Adventure Time Short: Meet Bloomette

(The Veggie Kingdom, a giant tree stump hollowed out to create one enormous greenhouse. We see a tiny house on the middle of the stump and inside, the green-skinned, well-bossomed Herbal Princess is baking parsley Tarts when a knock on the door came)

herbie: (approaches the door) oh, That's odd, it's only 8:00 in the morning, I wonder-

(just as she's about to open the door, somebody kicked it open; party poppers and steamers bursts out. There outside was her parents, Marla, the green-skinned hippie and Tarrance, the Avocado King)

Marla and Tarrance: SURPIRSE~!

Herbie: (startled and drops on the floor*) GAH! MOM! DAD! HI! uh...another... surprise visit?

tarrance: Hurm, yes and no. We're not gonna be long, we're just here to uh...um...

Marla; just ask you for a favor, honey~

herbie: a Favor?

Tarrance: A SPECIAL FAVOR! (big grin on his face)

Herbie: um...okay, dad, yer scaring me.

Marla: Herbie, met your new BABY SISTER! BLOOMETTE!

(The two steps inside Herbie's house and revealed behind them a young girl, 13 in age, standing shyly and fidgeting)

Bloomette: uh...uhh....o///o

Herbie: MY WHAT?! SINCE WHEN?!

(As Herbie starts to panic, Marla and Tarrance finds their way to Herbie's ouch. Sleeping on it was Herbie's pet Onion monster, Chives, which Tarrance sat on by accident.)

Chives: YELP! (pulls himself out and kicked Tarrance's leg in anger before he walks away)

Tarrance: what a rude kid.

Herbie: Dad, Mom, h-how?! when?!

Marla; well, we got..."busy" last month...

(flashback; Tarrance and Marla is partying in the Coffee Kingdom with the Coffee people)

Tarrance: we've parted from one night to the next! Shopped in their coffee bean malls and bought coffee bean clothes!

Marla; and then we had a "passionate Love Play"...

(flashback; Tarrance is crying in the middle of a crowd of high class spectators in a theatre, where they're watching a tragic stage play involving a can of saw dust and a log.)

Tarrance; IT WAS THE SADDEST PLAY I'VE EVER LAID EYES ON!

Marla: But your dad got us in trouble that night, so we got "High"...

(flashback; Tarrance and Marla got thrown out from the threatre, literally, and upon landing, Marla's magic bean sack, full of magic beans, plopped out a single seed and fell right into Tarrance's windpipe)

tarrance: I WAS CHOKING! (re-enacts the situation for them)

(flashback; Marla giving Tarrance a Heimlich maneuver, which works)

Marla: so I gave your dad the ole' heimlich thingie and he spat out the bean. As you know, your dad has life-giving spit, so the seed starts to grow into a healthy, beautiful half green hippie-half veggie person girl, our daughter and your sister, Bloomette!

Bloomette; fidgets*...

Herbie: WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! BACK IT UP! She can't be my real sister! For one thing, she's Thirteen!...or looks thirteen. She's way too old to be just a couple of months!

Marla; well, you could say that...

(flashback; after the Heimlich maneuver, the seed shot right out of Tarrance and fell into a river of coffee. Seeing where the seed fell, Tarrance jumped right in and desperately looked for the seed or whatever was growing. When he finally grabbed he seed, he didn't noticed the current's taking him too, so he grabbed hold underneath a small bridge)

Tarrance: narrating* while I held for dear life, the caffeine must have accelerated the growth procedure of our dear daughter and aged her until she reached thirteen!

(Marla pulls her husband up into the bridge and glances at their daughter, who is now aged to 13 years and looking at them, with a warm smile)

marla: we named her Bloomette cuz she bloomed so fast.

herbie: okay...um..so why go all this way just to tell me this...good news?

Tarrance: oh yeah, about that...

(flashback, again; A montage of Tarrance and Marla partying in places, running from monsters, slaying ogres and kicking gnomes for no reason)

Marla: narrating* over these past few months, we figured adventuring's hard when you're caring for your kid at the same time.

Tarrance: so we thought you should have some time spent with your dear sister, too!

Herbie: oh, okay that's nice- wait, what do you mean "spent"-?

(before she could finish her sentence,her parents already left and is in their flying contraption, the Arial Screw!)

Tarrance; HOPEYOUDON'TMINDDITCHINGOURRESPONSIBility

(and with that, Herbie's parents ditches their responsibility... again!)

Herbie: (in her unamused face) you guys...again...really? (face palm) ugh...great...

(before she could utter another word, she felt tugging on her dress. She look back and saw Bloomette looking at her shyly)

Bloomette: you're my...sister?

Herbie: um, yeah...hi? I'm Herbie.

Bloomette: Bloomette...did uh...mom and dad left us alone?

Herbie: looks like it. Sorry, hun.

Bloomette: (fidgets) that's okay...they do that a lot.

Herbie: chuckles* heh, looks like you know our parents as good as i do!

(Herbie scruffles her sister's head as Bloomette giggles)

Herbie: sigh* great...well, at least I'm not gonna be alone anymore...

(behind them, Chives is sniffing Bloomette's leg and bit it. Bloomette let out a yelp)
