Description

:iconkh-reopened:
Name: Kakeru Nozomi (Caw-care-roo. Noh-zoh-me)
Gender: Male
Age Range: 450-500
Age Appearance: 34-40
Height: 5'10''
Weight Range: 150-170 lbs
Orientation: Indifferent.

Fighting Style: He prefers to use his wisps and fire (wisps more) or grow out his claws or fight with his fists and legs. He has no proper martial arts background. All he knows is from watching and doing what is needed to survive for hundreds of years. His claws don't retract...he has to actually clip, break, or bite them short to return them to their usual length.

Fishing Pole: Fishing for Wishes is crafted after the likeliness of a keyblade due to his work with the Keyblade Militia. It's made of a metal that can stand against a sword, with a detachable head that could turn it into a flail or throw out a grappling line. The special part of the fishing pole is the line he got from the spirit world. 100 yards. Able to hold 500lbs. He's able to control the movement of the lines by guiding it with the rest of the pole. Line can catch on fire, but will not be burned through.

------ RP Profile -----

Abilities:

:bulletred:Contracts: Kakeru was given the job of judging mankind's greed. To aide this judgment, he's been given the ability to form contracts with living beings to grant them three wishes. He can cover a very vast amount of wishes as simple as providing personal service to tilting a person's luck and convincing the fates to keep someone alive. But in the end, if the wishes tilt more towards the contractor's selfish gain (even if just by a little), their body will belong to Kakeru. As in... he. will. eat. them. As for their soul/heart... it moves on.
>When a contract is formed, three black stars appear somewhere on his body. They can be anywhere, but they'll always be clumped together.
>There are some wishes he cannot grant. If he does not complete a wish, a star will not disappear. If he CAN grant it, he usually won't refuse it despite whatever morals he has left.
>He "sees their greed" as a noose around their neck. It will tighten and thicken as avarice festers.
>If the contracted dies, the contract simply ends. And he gets in trouble with his boss.
>Wishes can backfire on the wisher if not worded well enough. "Be careful what you wish for."

:bulletred:Transformations:
>Human: 5'10" tall. Where he tries to stay. This means he's well fed and under control. He's seen around school more often like this, and smokes quite a bit...
>Nekomimi: 5'10" tall. He slowly changes back into this half-beastman form as his energy from consuming a human drains. In this form, it becomes easier to see how soon he'll need to eat human flesh again as his tail slowly begins to split in half. Senses start to pick up, and his nose becomes too sensitive to smoke and other irritating and strong scents.
>Bakeneko: 8'7" tall. He automatically changes into this form if 3 wishes have been granted and the person must be consumed, or if his tail completely splits in half. Otherwise, he can choose to change into this form at any time...but he never NEVER wants to. It's a terrible monster form that completely blocks out his human reasoning. It's a berserk creature that will continue to destroy until it eats or will expend energy until it literally knocks itself unconscious. Turning into this form clears Kakeru of all wounds and diseases. He could literally contract cancer, and changing into this form will remove it. Lose a limb, have his liver torn out... this form will grow it all back.
>Abyssinian: 13" tall. Another form he can change into at any time. It's just your domestic house cat. Abyssinian body type, but over the years his fur has been tainted to be mostly black, leaving only two patches of orange (one on his face, the other on his nape). This form conserves energy immensely, but he's pretty useless like this. Travel size at least.

:bulletred:Will-o-Wisps: Can summon up to four ghostly flames that are completely invisible during the day. Used as lanterns and methods to confuse opponents. They can light stuff on fire...but they're really darn weak without a catalyst or sacrifice(his own energy). They're a light lavender-white color, but turn orange-gold if they explode. He can call them back and reuse them as needed.

Clothing: Most frequently seen in his uniform for the militia. He's suppose to be an instructor, but his classes are rare, so the uniform is usually just worn so there is no confusion when he enters areas students and civilians aren't allowed to go. Otherwise, he likes soft and baggy clothes and jeans. Orange is his favorite color, so he'll wear anything that color. (Word is he's a red officer, but is choosing to wear an orange uniform)

Original World: Japan (Spirited Away)
Japan was where he was born, raised, and later he worked for a medicine doctor in the spirit world when he understood what he was and how to work his powers. After he met Odin and became his disciple, he was moved to New York as his first area to work in.

Personality:
Needless to say...he's quite catty. He loves attention, but he acts quite distant from everyone. Even when talking to him, and he seems interested, it's like 'he's not all there.' If you catch him while he's relaxed, bored, and/or sleepy, he tends to stick around to talk about anything. Very little phases him. Sharing inappropriate information only happens if he's trying to get people to go away, making light humor, or he's attempting one-upping them. Otherwise, he's a pretty honest fellow.
In human form, if he gets angsty or stressed he usually smokes a lot more. As a kenomimi, he deals with overbearing emotions by taking long naps and tearing stuff up. This usually doesn't result in the damage of much besides his jeans... has destroyed a great number of good jeans...
He's not a pervert, but as a male cat he has a natural instinct to want to be attended to by gentle females. He's much more comfortable getting close to them and letting them butter him up.
He is not hiding his cat-side secrets. He simply doesn't talk about them. When questioned, he makes up excuses just because he knows he can get away with things. If directly someone finds out, he doesn't panic or beg for them to not tell anyone. So if you find out...don't think you can blackmail him. (Well now that Brielle is pampering him as a pet...hmmm...)

Other Quirks
>Unlike most felines, Kakeru actually enjoys loud and heavy music and crowds. To him, being swarmed by people is better than being left alone. (contradicted by his habit of distancing himself.)
>His bakeneko form is the only form that will consume most if not the entirety of a human. That said, to prevent changing into that form he will hunt down a human he has deemed evil enough to kill. In kenomimi form, he will only consume as much as he could handle, leaving bones and gross parts to be buried. Needless to say, he doesn't talk about such acts and silently goes about it since he feels bad about killing without a contract. He attempts to judge people over time so they were somewhat given a chance to redeem themselves. He never eats the hands or feet of his prey.
>He enjoys handheld games.
>He can not drink anything hot. Luke warm at most.
>Cannot be poisoned or even get stomach aches. Can drink kerosene and be just fine. (Yeah, he's done it.)

Goals:
>Just to be a good man, keep Odin happy with him, do his best to enjoy his job, and tilt the universe to be more charitable than selfish.
>To steal 100 lives away from the Fates in the underworld. He just loves pissing them off~ So this is just a goal for fun and games.
>>When he has to send a soul to Odin, and that soul is attempted to be claimed by another deity (due to region or religion), he will personally stop by the home of wherever their soul's fate is decided and steal them away for Odin.

Weaknesses: Cat fanatics creep him out, strong smells, being snuck up on, lightening, and his personal belongings. A bit off-putting so he misses out on a lot of comradery.

History:
Earliest Years: Kakeru was born and raised a normal Abyssinian to be a pet for a moderately rich family in Japan. He was loved and well taken care of, which lead no one to question his long lifespan into 30 years. He lost his home when burglars broke in and shot the head of the house. They soon took out the rest of the family and made off with valuables, leaving Kakeru alone. He haunted the house for another generation.

Spirit World: When he finally left the house, he was aware of the Spirit World even if he didn't understand it completely. He was randomly ushered onto a spirit's ferry one winter's night which placed him right among the spirits. In one night he grew to love the Spirit World and begged for a job so he could stay. A kind doctor took him into his practice, using him for typical cat uses such as company and rodent control. He learned to walk on two legs and summon will-o-wisps which then opened opportunities to start a real apprenticeship with the doctor.

The proposition: After becoming quite dependable with his work, Kakeru was able to handle patients of his own. Still, it came as a surprise when he was requested by name from an unknown spirit. The man, who merely had a mild burn to address, offered Kakeru to work for him. That Kakeru could see things no one- human or spirit were able to. Not even entertaining the thought, Kakeru merely stated he enjoyed working with the doctor and would not leave. The man did not push further or appear insulted, and thanked Kakeru when he was finished with his work. Some time later, when checking out the infirmary, Kakeru caught a patient sneaking about and robbing from both the doctor and other patients who slept. Kakeru thought he could settle the matter quietly but the man-though injured, was easily able to overpower the cat and kept him gagged. He threatened Kakeru with the lives of every patient and the sleeping doctor if he struggled or squealed. Kakeru was possessed with fear which developed into rage; no matter how many years had passed he could not forget his first family's murder at the hands of such greedy people. He blacked out that night, memory not recalling a thing that went down. He was back in the human world, in a human town that was demolished. Bewildered, it took him awhile before he realized he had taken a human form. It was later he was found and taken back to the spirit world to be put on trial. Guilty of murder, guilty of rampaging through the spirit's town, guilty of showing himself to humans and slaughtering them without reason... he had no recollection and when even the doctor confirmed what he had done, Kakeru found no strength to fight. He was sealed away right after judgment was passed.

Disciple: Kakeru slept for another century in the cell he was sealed into. Despite the awesome power that created the seal, it didn't hinder the patient from long ago from appearing before him. Dressed in red, he introduced himself as Odin. The proposition was made again with more details: 'Odin' wanted power, and was going to achieve it through the energy of souls of the sinners. Kakeru was to be given the task to bring judgment upon people and shepherd their soul into Odin's hands. Kakeru easily decided to accept. He was thus brought to another world, where he was to start working immediately, starting his first few years in New York.

Influence: Through setting contracts and granting wishes, Kakeru was the influence behind many inspirations. He doesn't take credit for anything his contractors do through him. Doing so would mean he'd take credit for doing something as great as helping invent a train system for a town to as terrible as creating the world's most sadistic serial murderer. He'd rather have none than all.

The Militia: Kakeru's latest contract has landed him in a high position and title of being one of the original creators of the Keyblade Militia. Hence, he's not afraid of losing his job nor has the will to leave the place officially... not until the last black star is gone.

Relationships:
>Has very enjoyable conversations and a friendly relationship with Ravi.
>Brielle has started taking care of him as a cat which she has named Monsieur.
>Hades and the Fates absolutely loathe seeing him around. But they don't want to piss off Kakeru's boss.
>He appears to be indifferent but sometimes sympathizes with heartless.
