Although he's not that much of a talker, Ganghai's actions speak louder than his voice.  Or at least that's what he think since he's been raised to learn how to fight with two samurai swords.  He was never that much of a talker, and normally what he says usually was cold and harsh.  He still holds a grudge with Dokumo no Akumu, aka Dounny, for the past Seven years, yet he will never say what he did that made Ganghai hold this said grudge.

History:

Ganghai was born in a small village section of the Jade Kingdom with his parents, both of them Greninja's.  He lived a calm and normal life up till when he was seven when his family was attacked by a gang of Grass type pokemon.  His family ended up severely injured but not him.  He was rescued by a Dusknoir named Dokumo no Akumu, or as he preferred the name of Dounny Evermore.  He was traveling the world and said he had saw the gang and came to help.  After that Ganghai wanted to train with his hero and Dounny accepted.

This lasted for about ten years before Dounny mysteriously left without even leaving something as a good bye letter or gift.  At first Ganghai didn't even mind that knowing that Dounny was a traveling samurai.  He still lived with his family in the Jade Imperium and helped out as much as he can with field work while still training his skills as a Samruai.  It wasn't till he found about Sōhei's and followed down that path and studied about Arceus (which at first he didn't believe there was a God).

It was about five years later when he got a letter From Dounny.  He stated in the letter that, after years of asking him for what he most desired from his sensei, he gave his prized possession, the Evermore Sword, which could only e held by Dark and Ghost type pokemon only without giving a severe damaging effect to the wielder, to his 'daughter,' Mokusei Ningyo Evermore.  Pissed, he crumbled up the letter and headed out in search for Mokusei Ningyo since he knew the Evermore Family fairly well.  He traveled for another five years after receiving the letter before finding out that the Eevmore's had been living in the Sun Empire region.  Now he's staying there until one of two things happen: Dokumo no Akumu passes away, or he gets the sword from Ningyo.

Additional info: 

• The Symbol on his necklace stands for Water Samurai in Japansese.
• Although he will not admit it, he has  hypermetropia (aka farsightedness) and would have to squint at things in secret.
• He does have scars on his back but they actally look like they were carved in his body on purpose.  
• He has a Finneon as a pet, that he names Mizucho, that's staying in a small pond garden that is over by the Evermore's house
• Although not related to anyone in the Evermore family, Ganghai has connections with Dounny, Ayumu's father.
