CNET is reporting that an internet security bill that was stopped earlier this year when big business objected to the cost, is moving forward again and that a recent rewrite would give 22 Federal agencies the power to read anyone's email without a warrant based on probable cause.

Now that the election is over, progressives, Internet activists, civil libertarians, and everyone who cares about their privacy needs to call their Senators and the President today and tell them you OPPOSE the "no warrant" provisions of the Leahy bill, and that expect them to oppose these infringements, too.
