I have done a tutorial on positioning IBL's for Reality / Lux here... [link] , which was used to start this image.

Items used;-
(Daz3v1.2.32 to Reality1v25 to Lux0v8)

Victoria 4.2 Complete by Daz3d
Thistledown character by Sarsa/Mada
Mistress Hair by Darkworld Designs
Eleane outfit (Drapery and Skirt) by Orian1167
Hi-Fantasy Pirate for V4 (Scimitar) by Daz3d

Reality Water plane - set to Pool/Sea water with ripple = 0.14, sub division = 2, for the run off water on the beach
Primitive plane 200 x 200 for beach, angled at 0.85 degrees to water plane
Four Dformers for footprints, (due to water plane and beach plane position, water shows in the footprints)
Primitive plane 200 x 200 converted to water material, set to Clear Water with ripple = 2.09 and sub division = 1
Four Dformers to create the waves and curls on the above plane
Two primitive planes under the above plane, to guide the light to highlight the breakers, and to prevent the water appearing transparent all over.

IBL - Sunset2 from Skies of Reality Volume One by Dimension Theory, Gain = 1.0
Spotlight; spread angle 25 degrees, Gain 0.002, Black Body Temperature 3742. Positioned from direction of IBL sun and aimed at Scimitar for highlight

Camera focal length = 135mm

Lux Exposure Control 1/2sec f5.6 iso 400

Film Response = Advantix 200CD
Gamma 2.2

Glare amount 0.002, radius 0.011, threshold 0.5 created in Lux Render

Resolution = 1920 x 1200
Samples per pixel = 10,850
final render time = 3 days 12 1/2 hours
