Happenstance, one might know how Google searches go, you don’t remember where you started or how you got there

It’s the community of people that I enjoy the most. Never before have I met such a gathered group of diverse artists, most of which are surprisingly positive!

I came up with Transient Art when I decided that I wanted to have a brand that described my art online, it’s also the name of the web series that focuses on my art that can be found on YouTube. I feel that my art is always changing and growing, shifting…transient. The things I create today are going to be different from the things I create tomorrow.

I  remember I was very inspired to make art thanks to my newly found love for anime and manga. I never went without art from the age of 10 and up.

My private art teacher really helped get me hooked on drawing, and from there: painting.

I feel that I push myself a lot, sometimes too much. It’s a very personal thing to me, and I think I’ll always be creating for myself in the end because I enjoy it so much. I find myself trying to create for others here and there as well, because it brings out emotion in them, and I like to see that.

I think it might have to be the first self portrait I made when I was 17 because it was a pivotal point as an artist. Never before had I spent so much time on a drawing and put so much emotion into it. I normally feel like I could’ve better with every piece, and it’s one of the few where I like it as it is.

I simply hope to keep spreading and for others to get the chance to view and enjoy my art. I want to inspire others.

My web-series Transient Art is the main thing I'm working on right now. It's basically an art vlog on YouTube. I record myself painting and drawing, speed it up, talk about what the piece means, and give away art prizes.

I enjoy movies with a deep story. Dark, weird, avant garde, etc. my favorite film is Virgin, next to Amelie, Alice, and a lot of foreign films.

All kinds depending on my mood. Paramore, Bat for Lashes, Lykke Li, Sia, t.A.T.u., Ayumi Hamasaki, Natalie Walker, Yann Teirson, Shannon Wright to name a few.

That's hard to say since I read so much! Harry Potter I grew up with, Dracula, Piers Anthony, most any book with vampires and the super natural. Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Bronte, Jane Austen.

I don't like it when people decide to not accept art in a group or bash on others because they use a watermark. I'm sorry but I like my art not stolen lol, and I don't want that to happen to others either!

I to bake sugar cookies with a passion.

Use your passion, if you're not passionate about art, then you might not enjoy making it. Passion leads to dedication, and with that practice, never stop practicing, that's the only way to get better, by creating often.

I have a couple different definitions for what is to me: a way to express, a way to mimic and perfect nature, to unveil the subconscious, and simply fun!

Always make art for yourself because you enjoy it.
