Pirate Scotland x reader- Chapter 8
You had the best night of sleep since you joined the crew of the Cheshire and it was ruined by someone nudging you and whispering you to wake up. You grunted and slowly to wake up to Anna whispering, "Sorry, ___, I know it's early but that Kirkland wanted to get an early start today. He said you're casting off as soon as you get back to the ship." You yawned and rubbed your eyes, really not wanting to wake up or leave the bed, then slipped on your boots and followed Anna downstairs. Allistor, Ross, and Rob were all there in the empty tavern, ready to go and waiting.

"Ah! There's sleeping beauty! Good morning to you Miss ___!" Rob said, waving to you. You glanced outside and saw that it was barely the crack of dawn. "Why so early..? Why couldn't you let me sleep for another hour or two?" You mumbled through a yawn.

Allistor got up from his chair, with Ross doing the same after, and went to you. "Sorry, lass, but I want t' set sail soon and I want t' do it soon. Do ya 'ave all of yer things?" Anna handed your old clothes, now clean and fresh, and a small box. "The box is a little something from me. Don't let Al or Ross get into them." She said with a wink and a smile. You really wanted to stay because you liked Anna and Rob and wouldn't mind helping around the tavern. But you were determined to find your brother and find out his whereabouts.

"Thank you, Anna." You hugged her tightly and she chuckled.

"Don't be a stranger now, ___. Come visit us again. You're always welcomed here, maybe within a few months so you can meet the little one." She said with a small rub of her stomach. You nodded tiredly, "Of course. Thank you for everything Anna."

You hugged her again then Rob came and patted your heard, telling you to be careful and keep Allistor and the rest of the crew out of trouble. Then Allistor, with a roll of his eyes, impatiently took you by the wrist and headed out of the tavern. You all waved 'good bye' and were off towards the ship. Once you were fully awake, you noticed Allistor still pulling you by the wrist and shrugged your arm away. "Oh, sorry there, lass, didn't mean t' drag ya' like that." The captain quietly replied, his leaf green eyes widening in surprise. You shook your head, "It's alright. I'm just more aware now because I'm fully awake, that's all." He nodded and Ross nudged him, "Oi, capt'n, there's dogs up ahead."

What does he mean by that?,you raised an eyebrow and looked at them suspiciously then both of them slip in two different directions. "Huh? What-…? Hey! What the bloody hell is going on here??" You looked back at them and growled in frustration, then continued walking ahead. "Stupid gits! Leaving me here alone and not-"you hushed when you stopped, quite close, to a group of men who were stood their ground. You looked up to see who you bumped into and stepped back immediately. There were 3 of the Queen's Navy men, the one in the middle dressed more like a captain. You blinked up at him because he was quite handsome with golden blonde hair and eyes as green as Allistor's.

"You should be more careful, my dear." He spoke with an English accent and you felt embarrassed for bumping into him. "Yea...I guess I wasn't paying attention where I was going while I was quietly ranting to myself." Your words came out too fast as you spoke,Bloody hell…why am I so nervous?. "Well, terribly sorry for bumping into you kind sir, now if you'll excuse me I must be leaving now." You bowed a bit and turned to continue walking, "Now, now, hold on a sec…." He replied, grabbing your arm to stop you.

You slightly glared at him and pulled your arm away, "How dare you pull me like I'm some git. You should show more respect, kind sir." You fixed your shirt and continued to glare at him. "Tell me, miss. Why are you off in such a hurry? Surely, you don't need to run off so quickly if it's not that important. But I don't know… you could be just a common thief or some low down pirate." He grabbed the small box out of your hands and examined it.

"Probably are with this."

"Hey, now! Give that back! I didn't steal it that! It was given to me as a small gift, now give it back!" You reached out for it and the blonde man kept it away from you, chuckling with his comrades. You were about to do something drastically but a loud, deep Scottish voice interrupted. "Hey now, ay' shouldn' mess with a lass like that now. I'm sure the navy dogs were taught t' respect women at all times."

You all looked back to see Allistor there, sitting on a barrel and lighting a cigar. The blond man grimaced at him and the other two prepared themselves to attack."Ugh…I had a bloody feeling that you were scurrying around here, Allistor."The Scotsman smiled and got up to come closer, "Hehe, ya' still remember my name. I'm almost touched, but anyways, that's my crewmate yer messin' with and I suggest ya' leave 'er be if ya' don't want any trouble."

"You maybe my older brother, Allistor, but I do not take any orders from you anymore, or from bloody pirates." He's spit at the word 'pirates' and stepped forward, shoving the little box back toy you, your eyes widened at what he said. "He's your brother?" You looked at both of them and started to see the same features in the eyes and the eyebrows.
Allistor nodded, "Aye, that's my little brother, Arthur, lass. Who decided t' be a little lap dog instead of joinin' me and my crew. Now let's go! I'm not 'ere for a little family reunion at the moment. Till next time little bother!" He waved to Arthur, then grabbed you by the wrist and started to drag you away. "Ah! Wait! Gah!" You did your best not to stumbled over your own feet or drop you things. The two other navy me were about to go after you two but Arthur stopped them.

"Let them go.""But sir, they're getting away shouldn't we stop them?" Arthur watched you leave and spoke to his men,"In due time,I'll let them get a head start.I'm quite curious what has gotten my brother so worked up and why he has an interesting crew mate on his ship."He turned and walked away,"Ready my ship.We're going after them by the end of today.""Yes,sir!"Both men saluted and hurried away, leaving the blonde Englishman to thinking there on the dock.

All the way back to the ship, Allistor wouldn't let you go.You tried to pull away from him but he continued to drag you along,arguing with you the whole time."Ya' should of followed me when we split away from each other!"You glared up at him,"How was i suppose to know?!You both went opposite ways without a word!"The crew watched as they were preparing to sail,waving to you both."Then ya should of stayed put until we cam back to' get ya'"He turned to the crew and yelled at them,making them jump."Stop standin' around you damned seadogs! get this ship sailin' and make it quick!"They all quickly answered and got to work quickly.

Ross came up to the captain,who still didn't let go of your wrist,and spoke."Everythin's all prepared,capt'n.We'll be on our way 'n a few minutes."Allistor nodded and took a puff of his cigar,"Good,now them Miss__,"he let go of your wrist."Yer part of this crew and that means ya' need t' bloody follow the damn rules!"He was angry now and you had enough. You went up to him and smacked him good across the face,making it loud enough for most to hear it."I'm not part of your damn crew so you should just shut up and stop commanding me like i'm one of these damned gits!"You were pointing around the ship,and then you pushed your way through Allistor and Ross and went inside the office.The whole crew was speechless,but started laughing when Ross snorted."Now I've seen it all!I think Miss ___ is scarier then ya,capt'n!"

Allistor rubbed his brused cheek then glared at the crew."Shut yer traps and get back t' work or I'll shut them for ya!" He snarled at his men and they all hushed and went back to work.Then he followed you into the office, leaving Ross in charge on deck.You were there, sitting under the window,quietly blowing off steam.You glanced at him then continued to look out the window."Ya got a pretty good hit there,lass, but if ya wanna do some real damage ya gotta hit me with yer fist." He smirked and rubbed his now red cheek."Shut up. You deserved that hit for dragging me along like some doll and getting angry at me for now damn reason."

He sighed and sat down near you."Look,___,I can't force ya t' do anything but we both 'ave goals and if we both wanna accomplish those we gotta work together 'ere."He grabbed the map off the desk."I'm gonna find this 'ere treasure and I think it's connected with yer brother."You slightly looked at him in interest."So,I need ya' t' 'elp me by helpin' with the crew."Allistor's voice softened as he moved to sit next to you. You looked at him,less angry now,"So let's make 'nother deal 'ere."

"I'm listening."

Allistor smiled now,"I want us t' be friends 'ere.Yer an interestin' lass and I could use a good talk when we're in 'ere.So grant me the privilege of bein' yer friend in 'ere and out there,follow my orders like the rest this crew.Deal?"His bright green eyes met with your (e/c) ones and seem to have you locked on the spot.

Bloody fool,stop looking at me with those eyes!Stop making me fall for you!, you screamed in your head.Though... he makes a good point...,you nodded."Alright,Allistor,it's a deal.Just don't forget our first deal we made too.Oh, and sorry for slapping you."

He chuckled,"I've gotten worse,___,but it's a first for a headstrong lass t' 'it me like that.Besides,I don't think the crew wants t' mess with ya' now after that!"He laughed but you still looked away,embarrassed for hitting him in front of his whole crew."Well, I guess that's good then,hehe."

"Well then,Miss ___,I maybe damned fool for lettin' ya on t' this ship but,i'm glad i did! I haven't 'ad this much fun in awhile!"He pulled you into a hug and you almost melted in his arms,I'm not gonna be a lovesick idiot! He's a damn pirate and I don't need to fall for someone like him!Allistor let you go then pulled you to your feet,"Come on,___,there's much t' do if we're gonna find that treasure."He gave you a cheeky smile and you couldn't help but laugh at it."Alright,captain.Let's go then."Then you were both out of the office and preparing to go off on the treasure hunt/search for your brother adventure.
