Quick to react but not exactly the most thoughtful in those actions, Sébastien’s impulsive nature tends to lead him into more trouble than good, but on other occasions seems to be just the initiative needed to get things done. When interacting with others as soon as greetings are in order he tends to not mince words and be his self from the beginning. He sort of doesn’t understand the meaning of self preservation when it comes to making a good first impression and isn’t very shy. Most of his ambition lies in his studies of his love of architecture and old artifacts…but a great majority of it goes into playing videogames as well, never has he not defeated a game. His focus on subjects he seems worthy to pay attention to is debatably unparalleled.

Bio:

For 18 years of his life, Sébastien led a seemingly normal human existence in Auvergne, France where he was raised by his grandparents, Marthine et Gabriel. Many years before he was born his own very un-ordinary fate had already been set. His Grandparents had raised him from a very early age after his biological father, René (who was human) had mysteriously died. Unknown to his family, Sébastien’s anonymous mother, being a mix of the Taingou and Matagot, was the cause of René’s death.

On one very dreary morning in the French countryside René was on his way home after spending most of the night working after hours. The roads and fields were still damp from the morning dew and the fresh mountain air filled the dimly light skies. Just near a small collection of houses were a group of suspicious people crowded around a barn. René had gone to investigate and discovered a few young men were abusing a strange and small dog like creature while a few residents nearby looked on silently. René freed the creature of its torturers and once he got a clear look himself he realized just how strange the beast was. Its appearance at first glance seemed to have deep blues and purples encompassing it with stars swarming around its frame; But in an instant that was gone revealing its dark fur and bright wide eyes. The creature’s threatened snarl faded and once deemed safe René took it with him to his home to care for it until it was well enough to survive on its own.

The strange creature stayed secluded in the house and only ate the food that was given to it. Oddly a series of events began to occur resulting in wealth and luck for René. He did not know where this sudden luck was coming from but later realized that it must have been from the black dog that lay in his living room. It was now that René had become obsessed with the beast and decided to keep it forever as a pet to keep his good fortune from disappearing. Unknown to René the creature had dark consequences for such selfish ignorance, and within a few months he experienced a deep agony and pain that spread until finally it led to his death. It was in that moment that Sébastien’s fate of creation was sealed. Both René and the creature’s lives have intertwined and had become unbreakable, the death of Rene had set the balance of the world off, prompting the birth of a new life. Usually such a thing would occur naturally with a random couple from any part of the world who was expecting a child. The role of the universe would right the imbalance. But because the Taingot itself was not even meant to interact with human beings the tie between it and René made an unnaturally strong bond. Both of their energy and atoms helped in create Sébastien from a small nebula formed on it's own on earth. The Taingot, not knowing what to do with the child, brought it to René’s parents (although it did not know the location before Séb’s birth)

His grandparents have raised him ever since, and he has lived a very normal human life until he was 18 when his past was beginning to come back to him. The Taingot had begun to reveal itself to Sébastien, most times without warning. He had begun to think himself mad until one night the creature met him in the night and empathically told him who he really was. Due to the now constant visitation (unwanted or not) from the creature, Sébastien’s own powers began to emerge after laying dormant for most of his life. Not knowing what to do at first he resorted to secluding himself from most people and didn’t seek much help. After several months through a series of events he ended up discovering the existence of AU and decided to attend school there to learn more about his self and this brand new world he was suddenly introduced into.

-is an Empath (belated)
-unwillingly and subconcioulsy brings good luck to certain people he feels close with, it doesn't always happen and can change in intensity at random.

-isn’t very strong physically
-blind like a mole without his glasses
-prone to motion sickness and fear of heights
-empath abilities make him prone to random bouts of intense migraines and emotional draining.

Extra:
-His first language is French but is pretty good at speaking English. He tends to use more American slang due to the online friends he would make from playing games. He still has a French accent though
-He really has no idea what exactly he is (mythical species wise) so if anyone asks he really couldn’t tell you.
-Loves most games (video games or not). But give him anything with historical meaning and he’ll love you forever
