Reason Why

This is my entry for the Risembool Ranger "Inspiration Contest".

If Ed had a nightmare, this would be one of them. He is supposed to be within the Gate at the moment, clutching the body of his little brother, which has begun to die after so long, unable to keep living without a soul.

What inspires me a lot with animes are the incredibly emotional moments that bring you to tears. What makes it even better, though, is when the characters get back up right afterwards. Fullmetal Alchemist and Vic's role as Edward have been a huge inspiration to me to try harder and not back down anymore.

But still, I love these moments of absolute tears... It makes the funny parts that much better.

Title is inspired by the Sleepthief song, "Reason Why". Obviously these two are not in love (thank god for that) but this song still conveys a lot of what I think Ed feels.
