Description
This is wand no. 31, made for kudavari as a commission.
It is 100% handcarved (including the vine and leaves) out of a birch dowel with flexcut whittling knives, sanded with 100, 300, and 600 grit sandpaper, painted with black acrylic and accented with silver leaf, and finished with a brush-on acrylic varnish. The celtic knot design and handle swirls were done with a woodburning tool.
